Gunsmithing Stuck 8.6 Blk case AR10

Primed some .308 FGMM brass that must have had some prior hotter loads. The primer pockets on a few felt a little loose. One fell out sending a primed but not loaded round into battery. I couldn’t eject the case and had to hit the charging handle with some force. The case ejected out but BCG slammed back into battery. The case was missing the primer. I used force on the CH again and the primer went off.
Ultimately I had to take the front take-down pin on the lower out because, despite taking the rear take-down pin out, the upper wouldn’t open from the lower.
With the two apart I took the BCG out and there was the primer stuck in with the cam pin!
I’m sure this is similar to what my 8.6 Blk upper is doing. I just can’t get that BCG out. My smith still has it so have got to try any of the recommendations here yet.

Came down to a plasma cutter chopping the bcg into two pieces. The back half removed out the back of the upper receiver and the front half with bolt still locked into the barrel extension was removed. This is my understanding. I don’t have pics unfortunately. Mos-Tek owner said mail it to him and he’ll do the rest to get me back up and running! Thankfully I have an extra Seekins .308 BCG and bolt. SA AGB and tube were spared in all this.

Holy shit!
That sounds like doing brain surgery with an axe.
Hate that they had to chop a carrier in two.

Thanks for sharing.
