I’ve got a friend telling me that he’s got a buddy that has this New “do all end all” cartridge called a 7 max. He’s going on telling me that the 7 mm PRCW is old hat and it’s a piece of junk now everybody’s going to this new “7Max” he’s talking about and I think he’s FOS. The only information I can find on it is one of the Sherman cartridges. What is a 7max? I have googled it to death. I’ve looked on here. I can’t find anything other than a 7 Sherman Max.

What is it who makes it? I can’t find anything online. I would like to learn a little about it like what’s the parent case etc.Yep, 7mm max. It's the newest best thing. Probably make all other cartridge obsolete within the next year or so. Might as well try to sell all your other stuff now while it's still worth something.
I think the guys just confused and didn’t know what he’s talking about. I think it’s a seven Sherman myself. I figured I’d come over here and tap the local knowledge base and some experts would chime in.I thought I was laying it it down thick enough, but I guess not. No idea, never heard of it.
So basically nothing earth shattering or crazy. It’s just a short action Ultra mag blow out to 40°.
7 SAUM case is a very efficient case especially if the freebore is setup for a med/long action. So nothing earth shattering, it just works like every other cartridge in existence.,
