High School shop class. Underclassman had his 1970 (I think) Dodge Dart in a bay for several days.

My buddy and I wired his horn to his left turn signal, carefully hiding the wire. We figured he'd pull in behind someone at a light in the bigger town to turn left and get some real dirty looks.

We lived in a VERY small town (not even one traffic light and no stop signs on Main Street), he lived out on a farm. It was months before we heard about it. It didn't take him long to remove the wire, no dummy. It was just not as much fun as we thought it would be.
Reminds me of a prank I initially thought would be minor but was way wrong. I took Auto Body in summer school between Junior and Senior year of high school and had a girlfriend's VW beetle in there as a project car as it needed some body work. There was a kid in class that had a bunch of air cooled VW's as well as a bad reputation for visiting people who had classified ads for air cooled VW's. He would make a low ball offer and then leave only for them to magically disappear a few days later. He had one of his beetles in the class without a deck lid. After a few weeks of pestering from this guy I decided to gift him a headache by switching two spark plug wires. Several days go by before I hear him try to start the engine (I was outside at the paint booth wet sanding with other students) and hear the tell tale back fires. I hadn't said anything to anyone else and notice they're pushing it next door to auto shop. All the buildings in this area have big roll up doors with concrete pillars in between the doors and the beetle is nosed up to one about 2 feet away. The goon had a flunkie in the class that he always hung around with and I see them at the back of the car fiddling with the plug wires holding a manual. I'm still at the paint booth wet sanding and at this point I know the jig is up. I have told nobody, He tells his goofy buddy to go hop in and fire it. He does and apparently doesn't push the clutch in so it lunges forward and nails the pillar! I don't know if the screwball panicked and held the gas or if there was so much raw fuel from them trying to start it but the rear tires got a couple of spins before it was shut down. Everyone at the paint booth is looking at this unfold and can't believe it. At this point I'm just amazed and relieved that I didn't tell anyone. The pillar bashed the front in all the way to the torsion bar housing. They hauled it off on a flat bed the next day.

I have an X like that.
My parents decided before I was born, that I should be able to do as Heinlein had suggested. Should also be able to raise food, crops, kill and preserve, live off the land with what you have on your body. Design an automobile, make an electricity producing machine or two. Change a baby, feed and nurse a sick person back to health, or yourself, sew, clean, and stitch an open wound back together. Also be able to do the same for other people. Teach a dog, I found if the dog loves you, and you are Alpha, no training needed. It just is.

Worked for Mercedes for a long time. Had a customer with a 300d wagon that had a rattle in the left rear. Could duplicate it quite easily. Fixing it was another issue. There was a beer can welded and primed and painted inside the fender that couldn't be removed without removing the fender. Spray foam was the answer.
Had a 2010 or 2008 clk 550 lesse

One day in the snow I spun in first and when it shifted to second is right when the wheel grabbed some dry pavement.

From then on if you were accelerating 1/2-2/3’s throttle and kept increasing throttle during the shift from 1 to 2nd you’d feel a small jolt. Floor it and nothing strange..baby it and nothing strange.

Friend at the gym was the head guy if the maintenance department. Dropped it off for service explained what to do etc. not him but the tech took it

2-3 weeks go by and they can’t find anything. I asked him one morning WTF is going on. Said they pulled it checked it everything possible and can’t find anything wrong

I drive over during lunch, take the car with him in it, make it happen out of the parking lot in about 100 feet lol.

He was like holy shit we drove this thing all over etc

Winds up MB actually wanted the transmission bsck to Germany to analyze..first time that ever happened lol

Good part is I had a 300 4 magic loaner for most of the winter so I had 4wd lol

My niece can not eat cheese, we go out for pizza and she orders pizza no cheese and that is the look she gets.....a

I feel for your niece. I can't do Pizza with any dough! Type II Diabetic

What I do is "Pizza Bowls." I take a small 8" square laminated paper tray (will handle 400F for 1hr... don't need that much though). I fill it full of Mozzarella, then my meat topings, then the pizza sauce and then spices (Oregano, garlic, pepper, etc.), I bake that for 20 min @ 375F.

I then cut it into squares (4 x 4) and enjoy!

Harmonica or kazoo secured near the electric cooling fan. Add a note for the mechanic that he should call a (burner) phone number to claim payment for leaving said musical instrument in place for at least one more service call.

Zippies on the drive shaft is definitely a classic. Did springs once. Only made noise at very specific shaft speeds.

I.used to.wire a horn to a trailer light wiring pigtail and screw it to a strong magnet. Took seconds to "install" and you could watch the fun every time the idiot stepped on th3 brake. There's a more complicated version of this prank that involves a latching relay but it's more time consuming to install and demands longer unobserved access to the vehicle.
I have a few years on me. Remember hub caps? Remove a lug nut, place in hub cap, reinstalled hubcap. Low speed rattle, occasional high speed, worse around turns or when parking.

Daughter has celiac. Cant even touch flour products without a reaction. Many places in my area cater to "gluten free" Few understand Celiac disorders and have invested in a separate prep area.
As a guy who owns a wholesale bakery, an entire separate facility is actually needed to be compliant. We had a large volume customer who wanted us to make gluten free blueberry muffins. The buildings can’t even touch

I had to give my crew 1/4ly safety talks. I sude one of the electricians as an example. He was missing the tips of fingers on his left hand.
He got upset, and kind of mad.
I told him when I no longer had to remove him from machines, because he had bypassed the safety systems, I woul then stop using him as an example.
He cut off his finger tips while cutting a piece of wood with a skil saw.

My wife had a 2007 CLK 550 we bought new for a huge discount on december 31st 2009. Good car but absurdly expensive. Traded it in November of 2014 on a 2015 Mustang GT. Best trade ever. Traded that in on a 2015 C7 Corvette with 1500 miles. Had that up to 36k and then sold that to buy a 2019 GT350. New best trade ever.
