Ya, he finally emailed me back. It took a PayPal dispute. He emailed me back the last day, asking me if I wanted a scope or my money back. Took the money back, its ridiculous, he said he was waiting on some parts that were finally stateside. But really, couldn't have told me that when i ordered, rather saying in stock. If he would told me they were waiting on parts Id have been ok with that. But dont say its in stock, then not respond to any communication for 3 weeks.

Definatly wont buy anything from him. I mean Even if its a great scope, if there was a warrenty issue I wouldnt want to have to try and call daily till he answers just to get a replacement.

Vortex, here I come.

Mine arrived last week. Similar story of shipped, came back, then sent overnight.

USPS must love this guy.

I have owned 2 WOTAC scopes. I learned my lesson after the second. Im a hard learner what can I say.. Save your money and get a quality optic..

i own both the viper pst/hs and the wotac. my wotac works well, but its defintlly not even in the same league as the pst or viper hs

Vortex Vipers. It won't take 3 months to get it. It won't take 3 months to get it back. If you're like me though, you will be sending it off and if it's a crossfire you might get one back that's worse than the one you had to begin with. 1 bad scope with great customer service (stuff happens). Another bad scope and great customer service is not a coincidence. The 2 scopes I've had dealings with were not acceptable, but, the customer service is great.

I have a Vortex Viper.. Your right the WOTAC is not even in the same league..

Wow, I ordered a scope last week and I am having the exact same experiences. I likewise read older reviews when deciding to go Wotac. The worst part is when I placed my order my paypal account (which was the only option presented for payment) had my old address. I immediately called and sent multiple emails explaining the address needs to be changed. I have also called every day since. Absolutely no response. Going to start the paypal dispute process - I hope I can get my money back.

After following this thread for some time I am really disappointed in Wotac. This kind of CS is unacceptable! Too bad cause I had one and liked it, but likely will not ever buy another.

Im having the same issues. I sent him a scope a few months ago to be repaired. It was a Gen 1 I bought when he first started making them, back when he was a stand up guy and you would get a responses within a day. Ive sent him several emails asking where my scope was and never got a response. Dont know what I should do now.

Same thing here. Ordered scope through Paypal. No response from Matt at all. Filed complaint with Paypal. Received tracking number two days later. Scope arrived UPS. Unfortunately, the reticle has a "human hair" stuck on the reticle near center. Now I have a problem. This joker doesn't respond to emails or phone calls. I don't want to send it back because I would like to go shooting this spring & summer. Gonna suffer with it for a while than take target practice at it. Yet, another lesson learned!

You could try the phonebook trick. Lay down a phonebook, and whack the scope on it to try and clear the debris
