Please vote at the following link to allow the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to add suppressor use as a legal mean for hunting. Hunting with suppressors is already legal in many states across the U.S. and Texas is lagging behind.

Third one down the list "Lawful Means", fill out your name, county of residence and check "Agree Completely" in the box beneath the topic.

Must be from Texas to vote and there are other topics you can weigh in on as well.

Feel free to pass this along to any other pro-freedom Texas hunters you may know.

I just realized that was my first post here.

Been an off an on lurker, this is great resource.

I'll try to contribute something next time instead of just asking favors.

Thanks for posting this. I voted for the use of Suppressors as well as the Collin County deer season. I also sent a copy of the link via e-mail to about 20 friends and family. I asked them all to vote yes for the use of suppressors and as they see fit for the Collin County deer season.

Dont forget, TODAY MARCH 20th is the last of the town meetings before the vote in Austin. If you are able to go to one of these last meetings, lease go tonight. The meeting locations are on the TPWD site.

David Whitson (737SHARK) and I attended the meeting last night. We both spoke in support of the rule change. It was both of our opinions that the public is misinformed about using a suppressor. We tried to dispell the "Hollywood" rumors and ideas most people have. The room was mostly full of farmers and ranchers and they had no idea what a suppressor really was. I think it was positive but most importantly, the state got our input. All the public comment will be heard by TPWD and the voters on March 28th and the vote on the rule changes will be on March 29th. If the rule changes are approved, they will go into effect for the 2012 hunting season in September.

Thank you both for going to the meeting and educating the misinformed. I wanted to go, but my wife had other plans that involved her being neked. So I had to stay home.
