I did a search here on the forum but no luck.
Thanks a mill.

I just sold a Savage 110 BA in .338 LM. Ergonomics weren't working for me. BUT, I did buy another gun, a Dakota in .338 LM. I already had a SAS Vengeance Ti can on order, with TOMB (Thread Over Muzzle Break) to fit.
Savage cuts their threads at 5/8x24, while the Dakota had been cut at 3/4x24. No problem, as SAS makes this brake in a LOT of different thread patterns.
I worked with Mile High on this one. Great discount, great service.
I've used the brake on the gun for 70 rounds now. It works. Feels about like shooting a Rem 700 PSS in .308 with 175 gr bullets. MAYBE a little stiffer recoil, but manageable. I'm sure the suppressor will help immensely. Paperwork went in a month ago. I won't hold my breath.
I'm not a fan of QD brakes. Have had bad experiences with the AAC 18 AND the 51 tooth models (wigglage, someone here called it), BAD design flaw. They don't answer their email or phone calls. Know of someone whose QD brake got stuck in their can. Also not a good design feature. Considering the experts recommend only tightening the brakes on by HAND, I'll stick with threads. But I liked the TOMB option and heard/read good things about it.
YMMV.
