I see the Cyclone-K has been discontinued, and it appears as though the Hunter has replaced it.

Specs look to be one inch shorter than the -K, a fair bit heaver than the -K (only 1oz lighter than the Cyclone despite being 2.3" shorter?!?), and $145 cheaper than the Cyclone-K was priced at ($100 lower than the Cyclone now after 2012 price drop). The can seems to be best suited for 300BLK though its also rated for 308.

I know its a new product, but anybody lay hands on one of these yet?

Re: AAC Hunter?

I was actually just looking at the same can. However I have not laid my hands on it yet. However I'm lookin at the 762-sdn-6 instead for ratchet ability and for use on my 556 as well as my 308 bolt gun.

Re: AAC Hunter?

I sent my dealer an email the other day about suppressing the 300 blackout. He recommended the 762-SDN-6 due to its versatility. It will only cost me about $300 more for the 762-SDN-6 and since it will be a lifetime purchase, will probably do it.

Re: AAC Hunter?

For the price of the hunter and $200 tax, a buyer could get our RSTA with $200 tax reimbursement and one flash hider or brake mount through the promotion we are running.

That would of course save $500 for the guy who was going to purchase an SDN-6

Re: AAC Hunter?

Any 30 cal can will handle blackout easily.
For subsonic use only.... a 9mm can would handle 300 blackout easily.
