We will be hosted several steel matches this season in and around Jordan, Montana. Jordan is north of Miles City and north east of Billings.

The matches are set in the "natural environment" with target placement and shooting positions used to keep things interesting. Ranges are between 200 and 1100 yards. All targets are steel and range in size from 1- 3 moa.

The first match of the year is the weekend of April 14 and 15. There is a team match on Saturday and individual on Sunday.

You can see pictures and read comments in the Eastern Montana and Region thread at: http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=3238553&page=1

The Match Safety Briefing will be at 9 Am to help with travel time for those who want to drive in the morning of the match. Round Count Max will be 100, most make it through with considerably less rounds fired.

An entry confirmation email will be sent, followed by a detailed email the week prior to the match with directions to the shoot location.

Registration, match details and additional pictures are available at: http://sageflatsshooter.com/match-info--1011-gallery.html
Click on the Match Info tap for Match Registration.

Autoloader 308 is fine... If movement is involved at a stage, you will have to clear the chamber...

Thanks Eric and Steve for a great match. Had a blast i will definitely be back for any of your matches i can make it to. Anyone that lives close enough to make the trip for on of these matches it is well worth it. Good course challenging and fun.

Re: Sage Flats Shooter 2012 Matches - Jordan Montana

It was a great weekend.
Thank you to all the shooters who made the trek to Jordan...then Brusett to shoot.

The fires and early haying season cut the numbers significantly the days prior to the match, but we still had a great group. There was some great shooting in difficult conditions.

I want the thank the RO's who gave the day to spot and score, it was warm sitting behind glass all day. Special thanks to Pohney for a long day behind the camera...great photos.

We look forward to seeing everyone again later this summer and fall.

Re: Sage Flats Shooter 2012 Matches - Jordan Montana

Any plans of hosting a match in mid to late November? I'll be finishing up harvest season with a crew out of north Dakota and would love to shoot this match before heading home.

As of now there are not any plans for late November, no matches during hunting season, we are all too busy. We have discussed a winter match, but they are tough to get folks to commit to...weather is too variable...

Re: Sage Flats Shooter 2012 Matches - Jordan Montana

Re: Sage Flats Shooter 2012 Matches - Jordan Montana

Eric, Ann, Nikki, thanks for putting on a well run match. everyone that came up with me had a good time and learned something. The stations , positions and distances were well thought out. looking forward to coming back for the next one. Eric hats off to your effort out there, I know few people that would have been out there hobbling around and running a match in your condition, much respect. Great bunch of guys and ladies to shoot with and again thanks fir putting on a great match. Jeff.
