Just left the NRA convention, spent about 30 minutes at the nightforce booth....I talked to the rep about the 5x25 and he said it's in the works but nothing anytime soon.....maybe around fall....got this from the horses mouth....They did say it was a great scope they just need more time.....

It's not that they're making sure they get it right. I admire that. It's that this seems to be the same story for years now!!
A picture and some specs would be nice at least.

I'm a bit surprised that people are saying that NF is stretching this out. NF has had ZERO advertising or marketing for this scope, nor have they shown it publicly. We only know about because of "insiders" and until recently NF has even denied it existed. I can understand the frustration behind the S&B 3-20 (which was debuted publicly) but NF has not done that, they have not tried to draw attention on themselves. They are designing a scope that we are technically not supposed to know about, you can't blame them for taking their time.

Oh yes. . .yes, we can blame them for taking their time. I prefer instant gratification as soon as I find out about a product. I wish that I already had two of them.

I agree. For me nothing ruins a company for me more than releasing products that are soon recalled. I use to be a huge Ruger fan, but am getting pretty leery of their products now.

It definitely takes a lot of nerve for a company that doesn't advertise, promote, or in any way alert the consumer about the development of a new product, not to have it ready for sale when the consumer finds out about it through the grapevine (LOL).

If this is true, I will be ordering two of them! I cannot wait for this scope. It's nice to be able to buy a top end scope you can trust that is made in America.

Yep, I stopped by the booth to ask about the rumored 5-25x. After talking with the reps, I am really excited to see what they will come out with. From what I was told, the whole optic will end up being on level with the S&B PM scopes. I'm gonna pick up something to run in the meantime while I save up for the new NF.
