I don't know much about MMA, but from what I read in the comments apparently you are considered "down" if you have three points of contact with the ground. He had his hand on the ground and was kinda manipulating the rules so the guy couldn't hit him, but the dude just nailed him right in the face, lol.

I think that's cheap.....the guy didn't have 3 points of contact the whole time. The goofy bastard learned what happens with the unorthodox and apparantly shitty stance.

I think the reff should get in there and stand that guy up and make him fight. I mean if you sign up to throw down, then throw down. Don't go moving around like some monkey on the ground. Oh well, he got what he got and probably won't do that again. It looked like it had to hurt!

I think you have to have a knee touching the mat to be down or at least that's how the UFC works.

You do not have to have a knee down. both feet and dragging your hand is enough. Jon Bones Jones doe it to open the fight usually.

I was watching that first fight, and the monkey boy kept picking up his left hand on the way in. I think if I could watch it over in super slow-mo, it might reveal that at the moment of the kick his hand wasn't on the mat.

In either case, if it was a real fight, of course you would kick the dumb assed monkey boy in the head.
