Police tie stabbing victim to hood of cruiser

Re: Police tie stabbing victim to hood of cruiser

Hmm... Sensationalist and misleading headline by both you and the media. WTF is up with that? I expect it from them. I'm starting to expect it from you too...

Disorderly crowd forming, ambulance too far out, patient bleeding out and who knows what other circumstances were present, so they according to the article the victim and an officer possibly (unclear on that) even stayed on the hood continuing treatment to go to the hospital 300yds away. The crowd still made its way to the hospital where they had to arrest two there.

I don't see anything funny about this at all. I see officers trying their best to save a stabbing victim while avoiding any further violence. Quite frankly it sounds like several officers made the best of a bad situation and still saved a man's life.

ETA: Nice edit removing your "too funny" comment. I'll remember to quote you next time.

+1, Sounds like they did what they had to do...to save an asshole from bleeding to death.

I agree...these officers did te best with what resources they had. I'm sure someone will try to sue them for something. Hats off the those officers. I've been in similar situations where the crowd turns agains you while we're trying to help someone that's hurt Sometimes it's you and your partner and that's it. I'm lad those officers are ok.

Re: Police tie stabbing victim to hood of cruiser

Those cops are heroes....Imagine trying to maintain order in the center of an unruly crowd without the use of deadly force!
Brave guys if you ask me.

Re: Police tie stabbing victim to hood of cruiser

Kudos to the cops on this one.
It seems to me that they did the best that they could given the circumstances.
It's not like they tied him to the hood and paraded him down main street.
300 yards to the hospital and staying with him through the trip while he is bleeding bad? They ought to get a medal for quick thinking as well as for life saving.
Regards, FM
