Hey all, I was just wondering if there is a different butt pad available for the B&C A-5 Tactical Medalist stock ? I've done a few searches and poking around with Google searches but can't really find anything.

Anyone know of a good, shock-absorbing for this stock ? The butt pad appears to be modular for quick change-outs, but I can't seem to find any. It's an absolutely awesome stock, but gets a bit uncomfortable after 30-40 rounds or so.

Thanks !

Scott

Re: Bell&Carlson Butt Pad ?

I installed the Wyatt DBM system w/ 10 round mag. I'm not so sure what to think of it yet, the mag has a lot of slop, difficult to attatch/detatch mag...and is a real pain to load the mag.

I'm going to the range tomorrow, we'll see what I'm up againt running live rounds through it. I't pros are that it looks extremely cool, single stack feed reliability, and it's built like a tank...yet lightweight.

I'll post tomorrow when I get back from the range...

I use a rubber mat that is the base pad for epoxy gym floors, I could cut out a couple more if you want

Thanks for the offer, George... I'm sure we have a couple loose pieces laying around the firehouse from when we re-did the workout room. If they pitched the stuff I'll shoot ya' a message.

Thanks !

Hey Don

I fianlly got to use my rifle with the Wyatt magazine setup yesterday and my verdict is: I don't really think I care for it. Although it was a direct drop-in, it seems like I had to take it out, add shims, re-install a few different times to get it just right. Despite the fact the magazine is difficult to load and fix into the rifle, it feeds the rounds flawlessly. There are several pros and cons that seem to cancel each other out, but just the same, I'm going to see if I can return it. For the price of the magazine and bottom metal, I want it to be ALL pros !

Hope it helps !
