Will a cz 455 varmint 22lr fit into a boyds tacticool stock for a 452 22lr? if not would it be possible to modify the stock without much work?I tried a search and couldnt find an answer.I dont own a 452 so cant compare actions.

455 action will not fit in a 452 stock. IMO if a person had some woodworking skill it could be modified but thats no something I'm willing to try just yet.

Please fill out the stock request on Boyds websight...if enough folks ask they will eventually do it.
I called them to ask about a special order, no luck. I was a bit irritated from the standpoint that they (Boyds) makes the evolution stock for CZ so they have the inlet programed already. Dosnt seem like a far strech to simply cut a few at a time and see if they sell. I dont make stocks so it very well could be more involved than that but for some reason I dont think it is.
Like I said best thing to do is fill out the request and or call them and bug them till they submit.
Just noticed you are across the pond not sure if Boyds will ship overseas but there are some cool stocks available in EU not available here...IMO I would check out those first. Klinsky for the 455 would be at the top of my list if available.

Im gona buy the 452 stock and give it a go at modifying it myself, there is two options of stocks with two different inlets, one for 22lr and one for magnum,does anybody know which would be closer to the 455 footprint?

If you check out the pics in the link I posted above it looks like the 22lr 452 and the 455 are fairly close. Looks as if you can use the rear action screw hole to the front where the barrel chanel begins as reference marks. In the pics those two items appear to line up on both the 452 and 455.

thanks anchor zero six, i was thinking exactly that but thought id throw it out there before i order a stock.They are on back order at the moment so could be a few weeks before i get my hands on one.Im also thinking about trying to put pillars like in your other thread into the stock while im at it, il deciede when i get the stock and see how it all lines up.
