Nicholas Cage plays a private dick who gets pulled into the world of snuff porn and almost gets snuffed. Very sick stuff, but all in all a pretty good flick.

Make sure you never see Wicker Man though, you might lose all respect for ol' Nic Cage. That movie blew dicks.

Nick Cage is only in a couple good movies, but they are awesome. 8mm and the Family Man are two that come to mind that are just great movies.

I second the disturbing yet found myself intrigued nonetheless.. I find myself either liking Cage very much in some movies yet in other ones I feel the opposite.... I often wonder how obligated actors/actresses are to take roles based on a contractual agreement to do a certain number of movies and after all the actor doesn't write the script... think I'll rent this one and watch again.. thanks

I don't get the nick cage hate. The rock, national treasure, 8MM, City of angels, Conair, Face-off, etc. All good movies.
