I finally finished my build. I took what seems like forever but in total it was about a year.

Build Specs:

Remington 40X action - blueprinted

Fluted Krieger barrel chambered in 6.5 CM

1-8 twist 5R

Kampfeld bolt knob and bolt fluting

8/40 base screw upgrade

Side bolt release installed

US Optics base

Nightforce titanium rings

Nightforce scope

AIC S 2.0 Chassis

Atlas Bipod

I'll post a range report next Monday.
By the way I don't recomend that people go the route I went. I spent a lot of money to get a 40X action to "custom" specs. I only went this route because I already had the action.If I was starting from scratch I'd buy a custom action to start.

Looking good. Who's the 'smith? You ever make it to Sac Valley range? Range out to 1k if shooting with the various clubs out there.

Damn nice. I'm still waiting for funds to do pretty much this exact (except the glass) Creedmoor build.

Glad to have another shooter supporting 6.5 Creedmoor. Love this caliber, and have too much brass to ever change, nor would I want to.

Glad to hear you went with a .264 caliber, there are definitely some amazing bullets out there for your new rig. Hope to hear some range reports soon!

Great looking gun. I see more and more people are going with the .257-.257 calibers. I bet it shoots great. Enjoy!
