Hey Guys
I am looking this year to open another training sight up in Saxton, Pa. The property will allow shooting out to 800yds for my basic courses and then also have a plate out at 1235yds for more of a challenge for Advanced shooters/ classes. The terrain is much different from N.C. in that it has rolling hills and a couple of different sites/buildings on the property for shooting drills and senarios.

I have scheduled several differnt classes this year in both N.C. and Pa., I will also be giving a few different dates for some months in the hopes that it will give people more options for dates. If you have any questions please email me at [email protected]

For the past several years I have been doing training courses on the side for extra money to keep me doing my shooting hobby. This year I am planning on getting my small buisness license and by the end of the year become a vendor here on the Hide, I will be able to do much more as a buisness than an individual so I am making the change to provide more to those who come and train with me.

Keep it Point of Aim...
Point of Impact!!

Re: Vapor Trail Tactical 2012

Sean-
Good seeing you a few weeks back at Comptons. Question: no "TEAM CONCEPTS" classes scheduled? I have some interest in that one, and I might be able to drag Matt out that that one.
thanks and best of luck in the new PA loc.

Team Concepts is usually a by request class that I have done for LE teams, I don't have to worry about them having guns that aren't zeroed and can usually get right into doing drills with them that are focused on communication and problem solving. It is a more advanced class in that I don't usually have to spend alot of time getting dope at different ranges and working on the fundamentals of marksmanship. It is good for shooters that already have a good baseline and want to concentrate on a few particular skills working with a partner.

More than willing to do a class I just need a date that isn't on a holiday weekend, give me time (month or two)to fill the class and its on.

Thanks Sean,
standby as I poll my buddies for interest. I'm interested, that is for sure.

Re: Vapor Trail Tactical 2012

How are those classes in Feb looking? I don't want to book a plane ticket if its possible the class would be cancelled.

Do you have a breakdown of the 2 days similar to what you provided in the post for precision scope rifle 1?

Re: Vapor Trail Tactical 2012

Gentleman,

I would love to attend the first precision rifle class Jan or May. Is there any one in or around the central Alabama area that is interested in joining me to help absorb some of the transportation costs?

I have a cherry hybrid Ford Pinto that can accommodate several passengers plus all our gear.

Let me know!

If you are buying a plane ticket let me know which weekend you want to attend and I will make sure it is good to go, shoot me an email [email protected]

The PSR II class covers the following:

UKD out to 700-800yds
Multiple/Rapid target engagements
Bobbing targets
Hold over/under using mil dot reticle
Supported Positional shooting
Competition senarios with shooting and moving
Hidden/Concealed target engagment

This class is not for the begining shooter, a good working knowledge of your scope and elevation settings is best.

Re: Vapor Trail Tactical 2012

as a slight off topic... does anyone know when they stopped calling it a "vapor trail" and started calling it "trace"?

I never heard the term, "trace" until I saw them doing it on the discovery channel.

Back when I was shooting the match course in the 80s with an M14, the AMU and everyone else at Camp Perry called it a vapor trail.

I was just wondering when it changed.

Great name for a biz.

Re: Vapor Trail Tactical 2012

a bump for the up coming events!
I used to always call it trace,,,less to say!lol

Re: Vapor Trail Tactical 2012

BTT, have an April Team concepts class, I have 2 slots open for a team to join. It will be a multi gun class working with pistol/carbine/precision rifle, this will be a great work up for any one competing in senario based matches.

Email me for information or questions, [email protected]
