This is the prototype Chassis I built as the POC for what will eventually be our M700 chassis.


AAC Micro -7 in Prototype Unity Chassis.

Integrated ATLAS Bipod, side folding stock, takes AR Mags.

Chambered in 300BLK. F1 in to cut it down to 9"

The Gen 2 (Production Version) of the chassis has some very notable differences.

the barreled action as the OP stated is a AAC micro 7

I believe its a MODEL 7 action the rear of the receiver where the base is looks to be smaller than a 700, plus the aac gun is a model 7

Thanks guys, yes it is a Model-7, from what I understand, the same as a 700 action, only 5/8" shorter. The production model will be for a 700.

Some of the things we really like about it:

Lightweight (Production version should be under 30oz.
Integrated ATLAS interface

Folding stock - The production version will have a proprietary stock (Adjustable)
For 300BLK, uses AR magazines, and feeds correctly (After some tuning on the prototype)
And some other features that will be integrated into the Gen 2

Thank you for the interest, would love to hear feedback.

The gun as shown weighs in at 9 lbs even without the suppressor.

Also... since its a setup for the 300... Will a 700 .223 factory action work just as well withOUT modification?

Yeah there is not alot out there for Model 7's, that is by far the best I have seen to date. I am actually selling my Model 7 since I was not able to find a stock that I liked.

Need to do one for the .308 based cartridges using AI mags for the 700 and one for the FN/Win 70 using the newer "TBM" based magazines, 5 and 10 round.
I think the hunting crown would be interested in these for a lighter, folding and "packable"

Integrate QD sections? for slings

Very good for hunters. Less is more.

I don't know that we will be making one for a long action. Not out of the question, just hadnt thought of it yet.

The first version out will be a Short action with AR mags for 5.56 and 300BLK bolt guns. Next would be Short Action for AICS mags. Havent thought past that at this point.

Tim G - We wouldnt be focusing on that configuration for a while honestly. Sorry about that....

Got to spend a little time with it today. I am NOT a bolt gun guy, nor do I really shoot anything precision.

I zereod at 50yds. Wind was 0-3mph full value. Off the bipod. Ammo was Remington 220g Factory Subsonic. Temp was 80.

I did not have a chrono.

5 shot group at 50 yards. The scope and shooter are very limiting.

I called one flyer.

It's absolutely shooting Sub MOA. I would like to run some supers through it, but I dont have any as of yet.

I am going to put a different optic on it and shoot some 10 shot groups at 100y sometime this week to verify.

I am very happy with the performance. I think I will end up with the Leupold 1.5-5 300BLK scope before its all said and done.
