I recently had a GAP non-typical 300 wsm built to standard configuration to include a Badger DBM sitting in a McMillan hunters edge stock. I have a Premier LT 3x15x50 mounted in seekins rings on top. Overall the rifle weighs 9 lbs 5 ounces fully loaded.
I took her out yesterday in the rain to shoot some steel and the last few rounds shot this 4 shot group at 100 yds. (I would've fired 5 but was out of ammo). As you can see, she shoots "OK."
Yesterday I was shooting norma brass with berger 185 VLD hunters, 68 grains of 4831SC, with FED 210m primers.
Shooting steel with this rifle out to 900 yds is almost boringly easy. That folks is why I love my GAP nontypical. I"m looking forward to antelope season this year and taking that long shot!!!
Let me say it again --- MAN I LOVE MY GAP. I guess this is why I have already started my GAP 338 build. These damn things are just lasers!!!
