That size essentially doesn't exist, outside of select firearms and old Fords.
I was able to order the longer screws from Savage directly, over the phone. 2 longer action screws # 704346 were $2ea + $6 s/h = $10 shipped. Basically the same price as DIP's but in (my preferred) hex rather than torx.
Does that 0.190" really make a difference? I've bought from DIP before and was very pleased, so I'm not worried about the quality or anything like that, I'm just wondering if there is any real reason to get the longer screws when my factory screws work.

Let me clarify... by OE screws I mean the screws that come on the plastic stocked models. The wood stock models have the longer 1" screws. I simply ordered the longer screws from Savage because I prefer Hex vs Torx.
