I just wanted to say how impressed I am with my latest Group Buy - Custom order of USO scopes. These things are simply amazing. Thank you to an American company and great folks who do this kind of workmanship. I went to the USO shop today to look them all over in person before they were shipped, and everything was superb. Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

I was on the fence about US Optics and was almost talked into a Mk 4 until today. Our gunsmith got in one for his personal rifle and let us fondle - I mean handle - it today. It's quite a nice piece of hardware. Very solid feeling and convinced me to hold out for one.

BTW, the one I handled today was the same Cerakote color as the rings on teh one pictured above.

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

I purchased a rifle with a 3.2-17 USO on it about a year ago. My plan was to sell the scope to help pay for the rifle. I was so impressed with the scope that I kept it. I have since started my own little us optic collection. These scopes are addictive. I am glad that a high quality American made optic is available.

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

I ordered two ST10's while overseas with the same specs, the wait was alright because we were away and had other things to keep me occupied but hot damn, sure it's a fixed 10 power scope but that's what we wanted... Consistancy, built like a tank, tidy, slick and built to work... It does all those things with zero effort and is really an amazing piece of glass.

Really happy with everything USO has done for me to date, excellent people.

ORDER IT... The wait is definitely worth it when you get the box of goodness built to your specs.

My 2c

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

Ive got an SN-3 that is worth its weight in Gold. If my gun and backup fails I could always flip the QD mounts and use the scope to remove their fighting capacity.

Really, their isnt another scope maker that makes such top quality gear with all of the options you could ever want. And the CS rocks. Thanks Kelly!!

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

I started out to buy a NF, a great scope itself, but went for the USO, without ever handling one in person....went on what I read and what I talked over with Kyle at USO....The best purchase IO have ever made...

My good friend has NF scopes and I use them from time to time, they are good, but I will take my SN3 TPAL anyday...

Not only are USO scopes accurate and repeatable, But they are also TOUGH as hell.
My rifle got banged up a bit. The Seekins rings broke, but the USO scope still worked without any problems.

Any thing made by human hands can break, but USO scopes are as tough as nails, repeatable, hold zero, accurate at any range. I have one on each of my precision rifles. If I could afford more I would have more. Saving $ now for one to put on another rimfire.

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

Rifle was on the back seat of my truck. I hit some pretty bad ruts in the woods and bounced a bit. The rifle got airborne and ended up on the floor of the truck. That ended my hunting until I got new rings. The scope was fine. Still is 4 years later.

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

I may have one of those 10 still available, buyer backed out. These have been on order almost a year due to the custom (50mm) objective size, and they are not available to the public in this configuration at this time. Email me if interested, I will give specs and price. Thanks.

Very nice rifle. The color matches perfectly.

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

I bought an ST-10 last year and love it, but recently decided to move up to an SN-3 3.2-17 and ordered one. Absolutely worth the wait, and it's tolerable if you've got a USO to play with in the meantime. I love that finish!

While they are very nice scopes; not all of these statements are true!

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

Great Scopes and People. I ordered one back in 2010 while in AFG and they were quick to answer my question via e-mail. Plus they give a military discount.

I may just keep two of the new ones instead of three, so there may be one more available next month, or I will sell mine with the GAP reticle off the 308....

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

Looking forward to adding another USO to my gun collection!! Have absolutely loved my first one! I know these two will only be the beginning of many more to come!!

+1....have you been to their website lately? Wow...Get EXACTLY what you want, all from your PC. The future gets brighter at USO all the time.

Re: US Optics Scopes, worth the wait

I waited over a year for my USO because they were designing a new reticle. Worth every minute of anticipation. Like crumpmd, mine had a spill and it broke the LaRue mount but the USO laughed it off.

BTW that is a Haas turning center (lathe) not a mill. Made in the US too!
