Green AIAE MKII is mine. Bartlien Barrel 24" chambered in .308 Winchester.

I had thought the MKII chassis largely carried over with some mechanical mods for trigger safetey? The tan skins with S&B are AI?

The skins are the new tan skins from AI that they released at SHOT show this year. They seem to be modular. It looks like they shaved some weight off of them. The forend is very comfortable now. Not nearly as boxy as before. I don't care too much for the high butt hook, but I'm sure a lot of others do.

The chassis is basically the same as a MKII as far as I can tell. Yes, the MKIII has a different safety, small notch in the rear of the action for the shroud to lock the bolt. They basically eliminated the 45* chamfer at the very rear of the tang also.

My rifle came from Mile High. They have a life customer here! Great service from every aspect. They mentioned that all the AEs they have been receiving have the new skins.
