I'm going to put the Sept night head hunter on my calendar! Other than the suppressor, what else would you consider required equipment for the night shoot?

A scope with EXTERNALLY ADJUSTABLE reticle is awful nice.

I meant the short course/intimidator combo just to be clear. A good mix of targets and a good way to confirm dope.

It was about 1:30, and there were 4 shooters. We were not rushing, but not totally dawdling either.....except for skigolfmike.... :)

Having kept up with this thread for a while, I agree.

Not sure if I share your confidence in my abilities, but thanks for the motivation.

Still not sure if I can make but I'm <span style="font-weight: bold">really</span> getting the itch to see how far I can shoot (<span style="font-style: italic">and hit the target</span>).

Anyone driving out from Pittsburgh?

Ship Ahoy:

On any given day at TVP, there will be many long range buffs that would be glad to get you acquainted with the range, dialing your scope and other fundamental marksmanship skills.

Bring lots and lots and lots of ammo (at LEAST 100rnds/day), and a notebook or data book to keep notes.

You'll have a blast. Do it!

Ship Ahoy - I built an SPS Tactical for my son who's an E3 in the Navy. It's shoots well to 1K. It was definitely a budget build. The Houge Stock was replaced with B&C Medalist, I have a Bushnell 3200 Elite Tactical on it and a Harris bipod. I will bring it Sunday. You'll do just fine. Hope to see you there.

That's the same as my rifle. 10x Bushnell 3200 Elite, Timney trigger, Harris bipod and a H-S stock.

Hope I can make it.

Yea that's fine Byron just get there a little early so you can set it up, and make sure to get it before you leave.

30$ for non members, 20$ for members... membership is 50$
no need for any targets, there are steel plates from 150 to 1000y and 1 at 1 mile

if u need to zero the gun at 100y, then bring a paper target for that...

bring a cooler of food and drinks....

Like benchrest... you sit at the bench, shoot some sighters on clay then put 5 on paper for group and score. Do that 3 time for aggregate. Depends on how many show up to how fast it goes, hope this helps.
