Rifle Scopes Mil or MOA ?

Re: Mil or MOA ?

I'm definitely open to the best solution. What I have now is a crappy Simmons with no measuring ability on the reticle and a .22lr. I'd like to get a 700 AAC-SD and was thinking about going with Vortex Viper 6.5-20. Which is Mil Dot with MOA adjustments. It seems like to get into any mil/mil scope, let alone a FFP is crazy expensive.

I've been thinking about skipping the .308 for a while and getting a better scope to learn on for my .22 but I don't think I can justify spending over a grand on a scope anytime soon.

Midway has a 5-15x Vortex for $499.99. It lacks FFP, but it may be useful for you.

Re: Mil or MOA ?

Do you guys know of a decent inexpensive Mil/mil scope I could throw on my 22 to see if I can figure it out?

Actually that looks pretty appealing. Thanks.

Re: Mil or MOA ?

I have an astigmatism I need side focus.

It's too bad nobody has a website where you can search rifle scopes by features and price like you can with TVs on Amazon and Bestbuy.

So do I. The 10x40 worked fine for me.

This forum is pretty outstanding. I've never seen a more knowledgable and civil group of people on the internet. I've learned a ton over the past few months reading threads on this site.
