    Been talking back and forth with Mark Gordon at Short Action Customs for a couple weeks and I have to say I am impressed with his service. For something as little as I needed done Mark was as honest and patient as could be.

    I bought a Timney 510 a few months ago and ended up not liking the wide flat shoe on the trigger. I was searching for something that would be as mice and reliable as the timney, without the flat shoe, but didn't know where to turn. I was considering having him tune my Xmark until he said he didn't know what the real long term reliability would be. He suggested swapping the shoe from a 510U with mine so I could keep my trigger but be more comfortable with it. A week later I got my trigger back and it feels great. Mark could have easily ignored my issue and sent me on my way and that says a lot in today's market for a job this small.

    So, I just wanted to say thanks to Mark and I will definitely be sending future business your way.

    Mark is good people, no doubt about that.. SAC is a great company to deal with for those that havent had the pleasure yet.

    Mark is a great guy and an even better gun builder. He's very responsive and has always been conscientious and on top of doing the right thing. I'd have him build a rifle for me any day.

    agreed great guy to deal with, got a 6.5cm barrel from him for my DTA that shoots lights out! I'll be getting a few others from him too

    Mark worked my T2A stock so my BigHorn Tactical action would sit flush with the stock. I would never have known he'd even done anything if he hadn't mentioned it. Bedding/fit/finish as good as any I've seen in person or online.

    I had a bolt knob mod done by him and couldn't have asked for a better experience

    I have to agree. The small job he did for me a while ago is flawless. Mark is great for sure.

    Mark built a rifle for me and it amazes me every time I take it out. Great customer service during the build.

    Mark has been so great to me also. He has my Sako TRG to be rebarreled into a 260 Rem. He has been great to me and quick to answer my questions. I plan on him doing more work in the future also.

    That is saying alot coming from Mike also. I have one of his rifles, so I have seen his work.

    Mark is building a gun for me right now. We have only been in contact through email, which sometimes can be difficult to fully understand everything. He has been great about responding and giving responses that make sense, and are well thought out.

    Lol. I wish I had some more money soon so I could send him stuff to work on. Gonna see if he'll bed bed my Savage but I need to re barrel first.

    I put in my build with mark 2 months ago, and i ONLY talked with Mark via email, and it worked really well for me since I cant be on personal calls at work. Granted we went back and forth with emails for a couple weeks, but once the build sheet was exactly as I wanted, the order was placed... I still have a couple more months of waiting sadly, but Mark is awesome to work with. I am already trying to come up with the money for my next build.

    Understated.

    Mark built my partners 308, which was the most accurate rifle I've ever seen. I'm taking about a 3/8" hole in the paper after 10 shots @ 200 yards.

    It was just rebarreled (by Mark) to 260. Even with utmost confidence in Mark, I've got to admit I doubted the 260 could be *quite* as good as the 308...

    Wrong!

    The new 260 is fucking amazing.

    I don't know much about bench rest, but I question the point of it when SAC can screw a Bartlein on your R700, you can drop 43.0gr H4350 into unprepped Lapua brass, top it with a 140 Hornady, and shoot 1-hole groups at 200 yards...prone, off a bipod.

    Keep up the GREAT work Mark, and I promise, you WILL be getting my business soon.

    Mark built a rifle for me last yr. All comms were thru email. It worked out great. You have everything in writing so there are no misunderstandings. I cannot say enough good things about how happy I am with the rifle he made for me. Once I shoot the barrel out it's going straight back to S.A.C.
