you are correct good sir

Re: It was a long 5.5 months....

ATF just cashed my check for my Elite Iron can. I had them make one of their Sierra SD cans in 30 call instead of 338 so that i can use it on my magnum rifles. Not any were near as heavy as I was expecting from all the comments on the cans weight that I read on here.

Which Model? Sierra?

I just got my two Elite's picked up as well. Waiting on a rifle to come back with the MB installed.

To me, the weight didn't really matter because I mainly shoot prone. To be honest, it doesn't really matter because the rifle weighs like 16 pounds to begin with and an extra 10 ounces over a titanium can doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

Also, I care more about repeatability than POI shift. When I put the can on, I experiences a .4 mil jump and a .1 mil push to the left. After adjustment, the can was spot on as seen below (4 shot group)

Good news is waiting is a lot easier when you aren't even in the country. Think that may be why I have been getting cans lately?

Re: It was a long 5.5 months....

Other than weight, how is the sound reduction compared to other suppressors that you have tried?

Re: It was a long 5.5 months....

I am on day 4! But hey the paper work is sent and I am stoked about it. Shot with a friends suppressor this weekend and sure loved it!

Re: It was a long 5.5 months....

I've been shooting my 30cal Bravo and Sierra SD 338 for about a week now. Really enjoying them. They tightened up my groups on my 6.5 SAUM. The suppression level on the 6.5 with a 338 can is excellent. Im very pleased with the results and suppressor itself.

About equal, but I can't really give an apples to apples comparison because my gun has a 26 inch barrel, and it's the first time I've shot through a 26 inch gun with a can. I didn't wear any hearing protection and could of shot all day if I wanted to though.

My next .30 cal can is an ark 30 I ordered through the TTF group buy. It will be mounted on a 6.5x47 build I am about to complete, and hopefully it will turn out as good as this one.

I really was quite surprised with this can. It was a bargain considered I paid $665 plus tax for the can and the mounting system, which doubles as both a break OR a flash hider.
