Well just got home and I'm beat!!

What a blast that match was.

I've shot many many different types of shooting competitions, 3 gun, IPSC, Steel Challenge, GSSF and a bunch others. That being said, I've not had more fun and been made to feel more welcome than when shooting in a match run by Ryan and Scott. Absolutely top notch gentlemen that run a fantastic event. I'd really like to thank both you guys and your families for every thing you do for all of us to have fun.

A big thanks as always goes out to Mike, who is nice enough to let everyone shoot on his property and for all the work he puts into getting his property for us to use.

The ROs as always were fantastic. One of the things I love about these events is the fact that everyone is so willing to help out, share knowledge and make the whole sport better. That goes double for the ROs....great job guys and gals.

Oh, and thanks to my partner for carrying me and my crippled back through the whole event. Of course my back had to go out on me a week before the event. I felt like a twisted old man.

Also, thanks to Ryan from Big Dog Steel for making some really fun targets to shoot and for letting me use your spotting scope...........I mean....ummmmmm......thanks for making the cool targets.

Lastly, thanks to all the competitors. Seriously, the people involved in this sport are some of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met.

Wanted to say thank you to scott and ryan for putting on another great match. This was my third time at this match and my first time shooting it. I have learned a lot from a great group of people. I also want to give a big thank you to team s.w.a.g. for letting me be a fill in due to some unfortunate circumstances. My first big match, we finished 15th None of this would have been possible with out team s.w.a.g.

Most definitely an awesome match. Scott and Ryan's effort to make this match the best it could be was clearly evident. Great guys all the way around.

I shot this match with my brother and for our first bigger rifle match it was an awesome experience. Definitely learned a lot and had a ton of fun doing it. We will be back for the spring match.

Also, Furtaker it was good to finally put a face with a name.

Ryan and I would like to thank all the competitors for helping us conduct a safe, competitive and fun match. The competition was tight for sure and only a few points separated the top 15 teams, but the match atmosphere was maintained. We are all ways impressed by the quality of people in this sport, true Ladies and Gentlemen.

After Action Review key points: Ryan and I take the AAR to heart and we thank you for all of the feedback. If you have any additional feedback for us please send us a PM or e-mail [email protected]

Improves:
Mix a few short stages in with the longer stages to reduce down time. = more R/Os and we are going to fix it.

No Paper stages; we don’t really care for paper stages but they do serve a purpose. In order to keep honest people honest we will shoot the paper one team at a time so we can.

Safety; we will revisit some of our shooting areas and open up the shooting lanes in order to enhance shooter safety.

Sustains:
You guys really liked the team format and longer courses of fire plus problem solving. We do too

Thanks to Ryan at Big Dog Steel we had some really cool targets to shoot at this match. We will continue to add specialty targets to our matches.

Match atmosphere; it’s a rifle match lets go meet some folks, shoot some steel and have fun.

Thank you for a great match, it was obvious that Ryan and Scott did alot of work here not only with set up but also with all of the sponsors too. I also want to thank Mike for providing a place for the match it certainly took alot of work on his part as well.

Scott and Ryan put on a great match. Good relaxed atmosphere. It was great that Mike allows the use of his land for shooting. It's hard to find someone to do that these days. The stages were fun and showed where a spotting scope was a must. I would also like thank the sponsors and RO's for stepping up.

thanks big time to ryan scott mike and all the ro's and all the sponsors especially Surgeon Rifles for the cert, i really needed it.ive said it tons of times but i love the open terrain on this farm. we had a GREAT time, it was challenging and super fun. match was a great training aid to our team.i really enjoyed talking to and shooting with the mil teams. also super cool to meet Gilliland, i had no idea i was talkin to a rockstar...no wonder his shooting partner was a smokin hot chick that could make cold bore shots on the long UKD targets! truely and honor all the way. ps i already called dibs on RO for spring

Great Match ! They just keep making them better. It's refreshing to shoot a match that has realistic targets, Mostly KD, a good mix of Prone and positional and the ability to make use of a SPOTTER.

Most stages were designed in such a way that each shooter shot a totally dif stage / targets, so you could use the strength and weakness of the team. A ++ Across the board.

+1 on these comments. The stages at this match were some of the most well thought out I've seen. Stage presented, then leave it up to the team to solve it based on strengths of each member. Looking forward to more of the same in future PTS matches.

Scott and Ryan are true professionals and gentlemen. Thank you both for the time and effort to put these things on! Thanks also to the RO's and a big shout out to Mike for making the venue available to us.

I am absolutely blown away with the way this match turned out. Some of the most fun I have had shooting in my whole life. If I never fire another round in my life and live to be 200 years old I will never forget this past weekend. I can't brag enough about Scott and Ryan for putting the match together and to Mike for letting us shoot on his beautiful property.
The guys shooting this match were truly great ladies and gentlemen.
I made some new buddies, had a great time swapping stories with them, and they always were helpful in giving advice on how to do well. Can't say enough about how much I appreciated the really great people that I met.
This was my first match that I have ever competed in, and I was impressed with the laid back atmosphere and all the friendly ROs and staff.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you guys for letting my shooting buddy and I have the time of our lives shooting this weekend. We are already looking forward to the next match!!!!

Thanks for the match. I had a good time. I enjoy a match where that you are excited to shoot the next stage. Scott and Ryan are always very professional and thoughtfull. This is the second time in cookville when I have had something break and I still had a good time. I hope to shoot ALL the stages next time. We were in a good squad. I need to bring a gallon of oil to the next one to repay all I used trying make my rifle run. Good people and good fun.

This image is only a very small tidbit of the show The Dave put on on the way to Masa. To say he had WAY too much caffeine is an understatement. The guy is a nut. It's unfortunate that Ken decided to ass fuck his trophy.

That being said, the match was great. Tom, Scott, and Ryan are class acts and put on a fantastic match. Additionally, I thank the RO's and sponsors. Without your support matches such as this will not happen.

I could go on and on about the many things I enjoyed about the match but there is one thing that stood out above the rest. That was watching Scott and Ryan taking the time to work with and help improve the skills of the young ROTC gentlemen. I can not put into words what I felt while watching them pass their skills and experience to the next generation of the protectors of our soil, sovereignty, values, and freedom. Simply outstanding!

And last but not least, thanks Furtaker for shooting with me. I had a great time.

My shooting partner and I had a great time at this match. We both really liked the freedom in the way the courses of fire were set up. PTS puts on the best team matches, bar none. Thanks again to Mike for allowing us to shoot on the property and for the directional advice for the way home. I think we shaved 15-30 minutes off our travel time.

Also, a special thanks to Lofty and that "other guy" on a good win, hanging out with us and letting us ride in your truck on those cold mornings.
