Re: one last question on hearing safe

There is, to this very day, no hearing safe suppressor for any high velocity centerfire cartridge. If it goes supersonic, it is not hearing safe. Do not confuse the misuse of OSHA tables to believe that anything other than 85 dB or lower is safe for long term exposure, because it is not. Let the sh*t storm begin...

RollingThunder is spot on.

It may not hurt your ears but it is still damaging your hearing. There is not such animal as a hearing safe centerfire rifle cartridge can firing supersonic ammo.

Still going to need muffs if you value your hearing.

Re: one last question on hearing safe

After firing my sparrow off a semi enclosed balcony I now call utter bull on anyone who claims that any can can be hearing safe. In an open area it's another matter. Indoors you need all the hearing pro up can get.
