Is it dead?
Have the company expired?

They have a facebook group where nothing happends just like on the updates.
Annoying, not because of the lost money but because the idea is pretty nice! But there is a number of bugs that needs to get fixed.

Some things were just meant to stay on paper.

Re: Idatabook???

The Ballistic app is coming along as a data book also. Every update gets it closer to a decent data book. Last update gave the ability to take pictures for your target.

I wish the idatabook app worked out, but it looks like a bust.

Re: Idatabook???

I've given up on iDataBook, it was a waste of money. For basic recording purposes, the log book on Ballistic AE works. I'll be using it from now on.

Re: Idatabook???

A refund for $30.00 would be acceptable at this point.

Re: Idatabook???

It's 'free' so people can't complain about having a worthless, shit program...because it's 'free'.

There are much better (digital/electronic) options available for those willing to spend a little money.

Re: Idatabook???

I just downloaded it. Ballistic AE has a better data book feature, but paper still seems the way to go.

I also have Ballistic AE (and iDatabook) on my phone. I think this is one of those areas where the user interface just doesn't lend itself well to the task. I love technology and have pretty much i-everything around the house. I use the ballistics apps, but I'm still using a paper data book. It just seems like the time it takes to plot on the phone is more trouble than it's worth.

I've pretty well came to the same conclusion. I just end up scribbling everything down on whatever I have available at the time because the app takes too long to do the same thing.

I do the same thing and then transfer it to Ballistic later. I find it gives me a chance to go over my data and it really gives me a chance to "see" what I'm doing consistantly.

Re: Idatabook???

I had the app and if failed to work so I got rid of it after paying for it. They did respond to some of my questions but never came through with the fixes for me. Ballistic AE if much better...
