Federal agents investigate Minnow Bucket in Autaugaville
Guys this is not good, been doing business with Luther for years, he was robbed this summer and the ATF spent a week at his gun store investigating the stolen firearms. I am betting they found something then. The Minnow Bucket has been in the gun business for over thirty years. They seized his business Thursday, yesterday, and have not left yet. I am hoping he didnt do anthing wrong, a lot of LE is involved.

What in the heck could this be about?

The entire case dealing with The Minnow Bucket is sealed,” Sheriff Morris wrote in a Monday email to the Prattville Progress. “Therefore, I cannot discuss anything.”

ATF agents and agents from at least two other agencies raided the gun shop and bait store, which is located on Alabama Highway 14 and is one of Autaugaville’s major businesses, before daylight on Thursday.

Deputies from the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office kept onlookers at a distance and sent several prospective customers on their way as the federal agents carried out their tasks. Two plainclothes sheriff’s investigators also arrived at the business, which is located off Alabama 14 in the rural community’s business district, but both remained outside as the federal officials worked inside

Remember guys that in a land where F&F cover-ups are allowed (and encouraged) a gun shop doesn't even have to do anything wrong to be blamed for something...

Re: Federal agents investigate Minnow Bucket in Autaug

I bet the outcome doesn't have a positive influence on my opinion of the department running the investigation....

Re: Federal agents investigate Minnow Bucket in Autaug

not sure of the truth but I've heard thru talk that Luther had let his FFL expire.

I know that place, my picture's on the wall there with 230# 8 point i killed around there 15 yrs. ago.Wonder why they would even bother with a small place like that.In years past the atf would have worked with you to straigthen this kind of stuff out, prior to 1995 they were reasonable. Most of those guys are gone now and been replaced by a bunch of pencilneck buerucrats that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. It seemed to go south after Waco.To bad for us.

It had expired in Sept. But the renewal had been filed, but not received from ATF yet. They have been terribly slow to send renewals lately from what several dealers told me the other day.
Probably some of Holders BS to figure out ways to screw legit FFL's over. I have dealt with Luther for 30 years, and he would do NOTHING to put his business in jepoardy.
