With the idea of putting a few deer in the freezer, I've been toting the Smith along just for such occasions. I shot the first one for a doe and turned out to be a button buck. I personally shy away from shooting them in general. The second is what we consider around here to be a B&C trophy. He come running past my tree chasing a doe and was intercepted by a 240 XTP. Turned the heart in both deer to jello. Taking the Smith along has put some sport back into my world of deer hunting. No real trophies to show off, but I was happy to have taken them. Hopefully there will be more to follow.
