Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

Looks real good bro! Thanks for the business

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

I'm working on it!
Lazy....thank you, still can't get over the deal and how fast you got it out to me...

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

Thanks! I've been waiting almost a year for the Defiance, finally got fed up and had STS do up the Rem to fill the chassis in the mean time. If anyone is around Miami they are more than welcome take a look

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

I feel your pain. Ive waited over a year for them but owning afew of Brads guns I know they are worth the wait. Should be here end of Christmas Ill get some photos up. What bullet are you running out of the 300WM?

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

Never had to wait longer than stated 8-12 weeks for any of my
Defiance actions, last one was right on 8 weeks my fourth.

A yr seems way long those guys normally super quick getting actions done

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

The first action was ordered with the larger ejection port and the top rail of the Chassis did match up, so a new action had to be ordered. I was told it should be ready at the end of this month.

BGE541- It's been a tough wait. I placed the order in February and was quoted 16 weeks, but going back and forth with the action has caused some serious delays. Brad did offer to ship me his personal gun to shoot until the Defiance was complete, but we worked out a deal for the Rem 700 in the mean time.
I have some 190 SMK and 178 AMAXS for this barrel.
The Defiance will get 208 AMAXs. I'm headed to the range in a couple hours and will give an update with the range report

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

Great looking stick! Brad has built me 1 bolt gun and 2x AR's. I can't say enough good things about the builds. One of these days I'll sit down and do a review. Great looking rifle.

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

I agree with the chassis compliments. That one looks nice. I usually do not like the look of full chassis systems and especially ones with enclosed fore ends, but that one looks great.

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

I can't keep you guys from figuring it yourselves!! this would be the rifle that didn't perform....and he blamed it on the Rock Creek barrel

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

Strike,

Just got done reading about your ordeal. I hope everything works out. When you get your stuff back there are plenty of "drama free" smiths that would love to finish that build.

Good luck!

Re: New STS rifle delivered (pics)

Thanks!
Unfortunately by the time this is all done I may living on the streets.
PCR is already working up a different build. so after selling everything i own to get this back from STS, i'm going to have to sell sperm and blood to pay that one off. FML

How does she shoot, I have one of Brads rifles built on a truer and blueprinted 700 in a legacy. It shoots bugholes with fgmm. He can be a pain but his rifles are shooters. So I would rather it be right than hurried. I was right at the point of getting ticked when it arrived.

Long story short...it didn't shoot. And its an ongoing legal battle
http://www.snipershide.com/shooting...5778-isssues-superior-tactical-solutions.html

I have read your story, and feel for you. When delay after delay, excuse after excuse started coming, I had nightmares like the one your living. Wish he would just make it right. Thank you for your service. I got lucky as mine really shoots well, But that is alao why I have decided to do it all myself just contracting out the stuff I cannot do. Best of Luck.

Most people have said similar things, STS is late and sometimes a pain to work with but always delivers accurate rifles. Unfortunately I got all the pain and none of the accurate rifle> I don't mind waiting, but deliver what you promised, and above all...don't steal from me.
I am glad to hear that your rifle performs, it keeps a glimmer of hope going

I really wish you the best, I certainly will never order another from him after this mess. Heck, when chassis's are involved, once they are in hand, the build should be really easy for the builder from that point forward.

I have decided to go the savage action route for everything going forward as it just cuts out so many time consuming processes when building.

Congrats , Love the scope. Keep us posted on how it shoots. Can say that Brad Tuner From Superior Tactical Solutions has built 3 rifles for me (300 norma,260.300win) they all have shot lights out!
Communications with him on all three builds have been great, and his time frames have all been with in reason or sooner. This has been my experience with STS out of
Henderson, Kentucky.

Now this Rifle is BADASS!!! That's the Chassis i really want. just don't know if i'm ready to spend that much on just the Chassis quite yet. And it's finished in Multicam! my favorite finish. This is my the perfect rifle for me. lol

It is a beautiful stick...too bad there are so many issues with it and dealing with Superior Tactical Solutions. Hopefully I'll have it back soon.
The Cadex is nice, but is it worth the money...that's a tough one. If I were to do it again...I would probably go with the KRG. The best thing about the Strike was dealing with drake Associates, very easy transaction and great support.

Aww, sorry to hear that. Well at least one business keeps things smooth for the customer.
Who hydrodipped your Chassis?

I don't know who actually did it. It was done while at Superior tactical Solutions. I don't think they did it in house. Regardless I would not recommend you send anything to them>>> you may never see it again

Just read it all. Thanks for the info. I will keep far from the dick-head. Hope it gets resolved soon. Best of luck to you.
