Midsouthshooterssupply. No circle jerk to get things shipped at reasonable prices and prices on items are usually cheaper than midgay.

Had a great experience with GunStop Reloading Supplies. Great people. I ordered some modified cases for the Hornady OAL gauge. When you order through them you are not given the shipping and handling cost until the order is processed. Somewhat concerning for the uninititiated but I've done business with them for many years and had no concerns. Next thing I know they email me the order confirmation with S&H costs at $12 via UPS. Within the next hour I get a follow up email from them stating that the S&H reduced to $2 through USPS, and they applied the deduction. They saved me $10 by going the extra mile. Great people, great selection, reasonable priced and super service. Can't ask for more.

You of course realize that nearly everything you encounter/buy on a day to day basis is a knock-off. I bet the gun you shoot is a knock off of another gun and the same goes for the ammo, the car you drive, the couch you're sitting on, and the computer you're typing on... Think about it.

I only order from Midway when I have a code and the code usually covers most if not all of the shipping and you have to admit they're the fastest shipper out there. I usually have my order in hand within 48 hours and today I received a package that was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow this morning for a 36 hour turn around from order to delivery.

Yet they don't even carry the im3300, they're out-of-stock on the 1750 in every color offered, and even then they're 1750 is $30 more than Midway's regular price which you can use a code on and get at least another $10 off and still be cheaper. If we're gonna compare gear stores can it at least be apples to apples and not warehouses to small stores.

I USED to buy from Midway. When their prices went up and they spanked me on shipping I took it elsewhere. I still look them over occasionally and when I crunch the numbers on things I purchase Midway is not in the ballpark.

Exactly! Why lock in to one vendor? No viable local option here so I pretty well just suck up shipping charges and enjoy the ups truck showing up.

I havent experienced really high shipping from midway, but my last order was a mess. I got a DD rail and it was missing parts, I got a bunch of different 22lr boxes and the were loosely thrown in the box and ammo had fallen out. I have ordered many times with midway because they have many items in stock and are fast to ship but I agree they seem to be slipping.

We've seen it evolve to what we consider going backwards.

Want to talk about getting ripped off on shipping charges? Go ship something at the post office! Holy crap, it gets more expensive every time I go there. I use the automated postal center thing after hours so I can try every option to see how cheap I can get it. Most of the time, flat rate is cheaper than sending it parcel post, but it's like $15 for their "large" box, which isn't very large. UPS or FedEx? Fuggedaboudit.
