Hunting & Fishing Another ohio night kill

Well went out tonight after a successful morning hunt and on the first stand spotted a coyote out at 450yds working a fence row. Hit the lightning jack on the spitfire and she came right in to 200yds or so. There was a large ditch between us and I wasn't about to see if she would cross it. She stopped and gave me a nice quartering shot while trying to require my call sound. I put the dot on and boom drop. Drt

I went out last night and had 1 come in but he wouldn't leave the tree-line at around 350yds. Unfortunately I didn't have the NV focused just right were I was confortable clearly identifying it wasnt someones dog in order to take the shot. Needless to say I adjusted it after he appeared and disappeared and was hoping he would show back up but he didnt.

I may head out again tonight since the field I go to is just 1 mile from the house.

Although Im debating on giving it a day or 2 to settle down since I dont want to go in there every night and get them used to the call. I have a few hundred more sounds I need to find and upload to my scorpion. I think they are on a flash drive somewhere.
