After some serious research/reading, I've decided on going with the TBAC 30BA but had one question.
This can will be swapped between a precision AR and a 700 .308.
Because this can is essentially a thread-on can, does it need to be timed? (forgive the ignorance, it'll be my first can).
From the looks of it, I'd just screw the can on until hand tight/can stops turning. I could see how I could possibly screw it on a hair tighter/more loosely one time or another. Will this effect poi?

Re: TBAC owners - ? for you

The 30BA brakes time using a peel washer that is included with them, so each brake is time on each rifle. Then the suppressor just screws on until it bottoms out, as tight as you can get it with one hand is fine.

Re: TBAC owners - ? for you

I figured the brake would time to the barrel but wondered about the can. Didnt know if it had any sort of indexing or mark that is repeatable.

thanks for your quick response Zak.

I use my 30ba on my Ar-10 and on my bolt .260. Like Zak said, you just use a peel washer to get the mb timed right and the rest is as easy as tightening the can on.

I'm pretty happy with the groups I've gotten so far with my 30ba:
