6 Creedmoor to 6XC - Done.

Re: 6 Creedmoor to 6XC - Done.

So it was just a matter of setting the shoulder back a bit?

Re: 6 Creedmoor to 6XC - Done.

It was simply a matter of setting the shoulder back, that was it. No doughnut problems whatsoever. Set the shoulder back, trim, deburr and chamfer case mouths and shoot. Look at the pics I posted and you will see the cases gave me no issues at all. Needless to say I'm pretty excited. I'm a 6XC whore, and now I'm no longer locked into to Norma brass and don't have to fire-form from 22-250 to go to a different brand. Time will tell how many firings I get out of these cases, but word is that Hornady manufactured them to pretty high QC standards so I am pretty optimistic.

I may try this as well.

Sagebrush, could you give me a loaded load OD measurement of the neck on the 6cm Hornady brass?

Thanks

I used to be "SageBrushShooter" but since the website change it's now "vonbalkenbush". Like JGorski said, the OD measurement of a loaded round with the Hornady brass is .272"
