Shooters,

Just sharing some pictures of some of the recent builds we have been finishing up on. Listed below are the specifications.

-Short Action Customs Alpha 11, Medium, Right, 20 MOA, double pinned lug.
-Bartlein M40 6.5mm 1-8" twist barrel finished at 26"
-5/8 x 24 thread with APA little bastard installed.
-Kampfeld heavy straight fluting
-Manners MCS-T4A, 3 Color GAP molded in camo.
-Epoxy pillar bedded, Defiance DBM installed.
-Timney 510U trigger tuned to 2.5 lbs.
-Patriot Brown Cerakote with Black Accents.

Most of you know I'm a fan of the Patriot Brown, but it looks great with the molded in 3 color GAP.

Thanks for looking!

Mark

Very nice build. Has everyone a rifle should have and nothing it shouldn't.

Re: SAC: Alpha 11 260 Rem in MCS-T4A.

I keep coming back to look at my rifle, I am super glad I changed from the OD Green Cerokote to the Patriot Brown (and no Mark didnt talk me into it, i changed it after seeing a Patriot Brown in person and knew how good it would look with that Gap Molded Camo from Manners....

I saw alpha 11 260 and got all excited it was mine, but then I saw it was a different stock.

Re: SAC: Alpha 11 260 Rem in MCS-T4A.

Just wanted to do a quick little review of this rifle for those still on the fence about giving Mark your business. I got the rifle on a Thursday last week, and I knew I was leaving on Tuesday for a 2 week work trip so I wanted to get out and do something before I left. I am far far far from a sharp shooter, i am a self taught precision shooter, and am learning more and more every time I go out.

I picked it up last week, and its gorgeous in person, exactly what I was hoping for. The Patriot Brown is PERFECT for that 3Color Molded GAP stock. The black accents came out great. Trigger pull is fantastic, measured 10 time average of 2.3lbs and crisp as ever. Mounted up my NF 5-22x56 MOA/MOA scope, atlas BiPod and loaded up some rounds. Knowing I was leaving this week so I was really hoping to get out and shoot it on Saturday but the wife had other plans so I couldn’t, but I was hopeful with Sunday till I woke up and looked outside to snow, lots of it and 26 degree weather, but I didn’t let that stop me, I was determined to shoot it a couple times just to see how it felt.

This pic will show you the conditions.

I had 1 Box of SouthWest .260 w/142SMKs to break in the barrel with and sight it in. First shot, 12” high. 3” right. Cleaned the barrel quick, adjust optic, and then 3 shots.

Those are 1” squares

I had the biggest grin I could get after seeing them. I finished breaking in the barrel with my 20 round box, and by this point I was freezing, but determined to keep shooting.

Here is the last 10shot group

I didn’t want to test my reloads i had just made in this weather, but didn’t want to stop so I pressed up pressed on past my better judgement, but it worked out. 140g Amax over 42.7g H4350 resulted in this 5 shot group

The rifle is all I hoped for. I had Mark make the rifle with the Lil'bastard brake, and a thread protector so I could easily remove the brake for when I shoot Comp's that dont allow them, and the Brake is timed 100% perfectly. When I screwed it on, it stops at exactly the right time and holds steady.

Mark, and SAC, are great to deal with and easy to work with. You will get exactly what you are hoping for. I am already planning my next build now

Thanks again Mark.
