That guy needs to keep the rifle and get a wife that isn't lead by emotional reaction. If its not one thing its something else with people that run off of emotion; the problem is the rational people have to deal with that stupidity knowing they are in the right.
This makes me want to go grab my wifes ass right now as she got me a Mk12 Mod1 and NF 2.5-10 for Christmas.

My wife has stopped asking about guns years ago. I happen to be at the gun store last night when a new M&P AR showed up. I bought it at retail price, brought it home, and the wife didnt say a thing.

My wife is a gem! When I remarked about the high prices of AR type rifles and possibly putting one on gunbroker she objected. And in a time when we could use the money - we have a big move coming up (going to Colorado) AND my daughter's wedding next summer!!

Now mine on the other hand was trying to get a deal on "scratch and dent" Accuracy International rifles at SHOT. (while she was playing with the AX50).
I am getting ready to pickup four commemorative stripped lowers so that I can build a basic AR for every member of my family. I already know what color my wife wants hers.

My wife leaves me alone and trusts me to spend appropriately. I spend a lot on firearms and if and when I need to sell one, I do. She's even more on board now than a few years ago and supports buying more guns and ammo. I wouldn't trade her for anything.
