Honestly, couldn't find a lot in the Hide about it. My question is basically how easy was it to get used to using the point as the point if aim, currently running a NXS mildot on an AR, NXS NP-R1 in F-Class, modified IOR MP-8 dot on my tactical rifle. What to make the jump to the 4-16x56 NH1, but have some reservations. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I also had some serious reservations about the NH1 over a more traditional cross hair. It is now my favorite reticle that I have ever used! The reticle is somewhat thick for easy pickup in low light yet the post comes to a fine point allowing high precision. It never obscures the target and in my mind is the perfect FFP reticle. Quick to acquire (not to mention the forgiving Hensoldt eyebox), precise, and no obscuration of the target, what's not to like. I cannot believe there are not more scopes out there with a similar design because it works so well!

My buddy shoots a Nightforce 5-22 SFP scope and had some reservations about the NH1 post being a good idea. He then proceeded to shoot his best group of all time, a 0.2 moa 5 shot group at 100 yards (the 260 TRG is no slouch), on an unfamiliar rifle.

I am actually thinking about picking up another for a future build because I like it so much. Does anyone know if Cassidian plans to sell the 4-16 NH1 scope, or is it a thing of the past and I should buy one now?

TKAB, thanks that's the answer I was looking for.
