I bought both stocks to see which I liked better. Of course there's no clear winner.

The A2 has a great grip angle and palm swell but no hook and a chunky fore-end.

The A3 has a great hook, nicer fore-end, but not the grip angle of the A4 that I love.

Comb is slightly higher on the A2 as well.

If they would cross the Hook and fore-end of the A3 with the grip of the A2, this stock would be perfect for me. At least for my current budget.

No idea which to keep at this point.

I might be wrong, but you're referring to an A-4, I think you mean A-2. B&C doesn't have an A-4.

You are right, changed OP. Was busy staring at McMillans and got the numbers mixed.

Sounds good to me, i wish they offered the hook stock for savages. I modified an a2 b&c, shaved the forend sides down and rounded the corners. Time consuming but the results were worth it. That project gave me lots of respect for the fiberglass stock makers. I used matting and fiberglass resin to make the shell as i ground through the original when i slimmed and rounded the forend.

haha, there's no way I would trust myself to do that.
