Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

first off, what a poser

secondly, unless i missed some sort of physical contact when is it okay for a LEO to throw someone to the ground and put a knee in his chest?

I agree

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Yeah the kid's a douchebag, and yeah he deserved it, and yeah it's hilarious the cop was a Marine. But no, the cop had no right to START the physical confrontation without giving him the option to stop what he's doing besides being a douche.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

I saw a bunch of bullshit in that video....

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Great thread, one loud mouth, one dick head cop (with backup) and one douche bag who thinks saying your a U.S. soldier means your x army.

And the first thing that you see in it is a graphic indicating that the thread is nothing but a fishing expedition.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Kid is definitly a douchebag, and deserved what he got. That doesnt make the officer right though. Its behavior like that which causes all the cop hate out there.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

That young punk should be eternally grateful to that officer. He taught him a very valuable lesson that you must give respect in order to earn it.

The army obviously failed at instilling any ethos in this kid. Luckily for him he crossed paths with a squared away Devil Dog. "91/98 Condition corrected central".

Punk: US solider bro, know who you're talking to bro
Punk: Know who you'r ughhhhhhh
Cop: You're talking to a United States Marine and you are now down, do you understand that?
Punk: gurgle solider gurgle...

You're getting high on all that unearned taxpayer funded benefits you freeloading, union piece of shit.

The cops should automatically respect the citizens. The kid says he called in an assault and robbery 45minutes ago and the turd in uniform tells him 'I'm not on your clock'.

Actually, being a civil servant, that's exactly whose clock he is on.... and you whine about not being respected... I'm not surprised about your attitude. You enforce and therefore endorse the laws pushed by Bloomberg and mocking the citizens who pay you is par for the course. You're the total hypocrite that will give Bloomberg the means to implement his treasonous laws and then high-tail it to a State that wouldn't put up with his kind.

The irony is your postings and attitude are direct fuel for the fire that's making more and more people see men in uniform as the number one threat to their safety and freedom.

Next time there's news of a police officer who got hurt and civilians simply looked on remember this post. You've helped contribute to that event.

In sum: fuck you.

So let's go ahead and post the news reports about the Marine who beat the shit out of the disabled Vet in a wheel chair on Halloween and have a grand ole discussion about which service failed to instill moral virtue.

OR

You can not make retarded as fuck blanket statements against an entire branch of the military based on the actions of a guy in a video on the internet that claimed that he was a combat engineer RESERVIST and the truth of that statement couldn't be verified at all thanks to "the taxi driver took my ID" bull shit story.

Oh...

And if the cops didn't take 45 minutes to respond to a violent confrontation between the homeowner and two burglars stealing his shit maybe the guy wouldn't have been so pissed off at the piss poor job they were doing.

Tommy Cross was a passenger who caught this dramatic footage of Oscar Grant getting shot in his back by Johannes Mehserle when his hands and arms where behind his back.

Now lets have a discussion about how all police officers are pieces of shit punk asses that shoot unarmed civilians, EVEN WHILE SUBDUED, thanks to their total lack of morals and training.

Is that video enough or should I just go to YouTube and search "Cop shoots unarmed man" and post the hundreds of videos that pop up?

Or should I start posting all the pics from your buddies in LAPD shooting up those old ladies a couple days ago?

Are you seeing the point I'm making yet?

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Slapchop, is exactly as you describe EH, but the sad part is...he is either too stupid to realize it or he just another one towing the line of elitism.

ETA: To all of you who think the kid was a 'douchebag', please take another look at the video. The only thing the kid did was A. use a condescending tone B. aggressively smoke a ciggerette and C. question the officers, so how does any of that make him a douchebag? You, and slapchop are the reason why this country is failing.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Slap's just another welfare leach. Never did anything that required him to stand alone and have his own actions account for his lot in life. A union pussy who couldn't make it in the private world because people were mean and so hides in the bloated folds of the union ranks of one of the worst PDs in the country under the worst mayor in the country and enforces out right treasonous laws.

He's here as exactly what he is in real life - a troll.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Just wondering if an intentional insult on the combined intelligence of "The Hide" is grounds for a long term ban? If so I believe the necessary evidence is posted in this thread.

??? Has OP ever posted anything related to long range or precision shooting ????

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Slap chop....we're you a shit bird marine too or did that only happen after the NY koolaid?

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

The young punk did posture. I couldn't see his hands but if they were clinched, given his demeanor, its game on. I know a lot of you on here don't agree but its considered assault. Now I don't agree with him asking the punk what all the moaning was about and rubbing salt in the wounds so to speak. And I also don't agree with not charging him. In that situation we have to place a charge that caused the use of force and notify a supervisor who has to investigate it.

If one clenches his hands, that is grounds for an assault charge? WTF!!! Best one practices his open hand strike posture evidently.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

I started laughing when the GI stepped up and announced his Soldierly status, but when the cop brought out the Marine, I am glad I had coffee already out of the way for the day. Wonder how that would have ended up if the kid was a better built US Marine...

Lesson here? Only step up on a cop if you can handle the consequences
Lesson 2? Don't do it when the guy has a barrel assed doughnut chaser for back up
Lesson 3, because SOLDIER

Semper Fi!

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Its that coupled with his demeanor. It is a fighting posture. You going to wait to get punched before you start fighting when someone is in your face ready to fight you? Not me!

It isn't about cop hate. It is about people that are given authority abusing it. Whether it is LEO, Marine, Army, etc...

sorry but the cop should at least be suspended.

And don't think Slapchop didn't post this thread with the intent of getting some sort of storm going. Slap is a liberal LEO that thinks cops are infallible and that you and I don't have the right to question them. He also thinks we should give up some of our rights that are guaranteed in the second amendment because it would make their job easier.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

I'd have been happier to see the Sheriff Taylor approach when the young man got into the personal space of the officer; clearly the young man was somewhat agitated and perhaps a little latitude might have been warranted.

On the other hand Andy Taylor was a fictional character on a 1960's sitcom and the officer in question might have, oh say, a wife and children depending on him not making the excessively generous mistake of letting a complete and utter stranger close within grappling distance of him in so strange and sudden a manner as this kid did in the video.

The behavior of the young man was mildly to fairly weird. In response to the closing of personal distance, the Cop put the kid down but did not snap his neck, strike him, or drill him.

The whole encounter is on tape and just who was it that filmed it?

I don't think the officer is in any trouble. That said, I would have liked to see the responding officers give lolly pops; like they did when I was a little boy in New Hampshire...

In the early 1960's

Try watching the video again after you've had a chance to wash Slap's 'cod yogurt' out of your eyes and ears. The guy had been attacked and robbed and was waiting for 45mins for response to his 911 call. Was he pissed - duh. Did the turd in uniform show any consideration to that fact? Quite the opposite, he justified his pathetic response time by suggesting he had no obligation to respond in any timeframe other than what suited him.
Great way to talk to a clearly agitated victim of a violent crime.

The term professional is often applied to how police should conduct themselves. It's just not meant to be followed by 'asshole'.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

EH reminds me of that angry little Chihuahua that is always pissed off at his stature in life and constantly looking for an ankle to bite. Loud, noisy, likes to follow you around and is annoying but at the end of the day he's nothing more than a harmless pest.

I applaud this officer, this Marine for taking the time to teach this young punk several important life lessons. He was able to impart in 4 seconds what the army couldn't do in 4 years lol.

Despite what some of you might think, when you dial 911 the world doesn't begin to revolve around you. There are other calls for service ahead of yours that need to be resolved, other citizens that need helping, actual EMERGENCIES and donuts that need eating BEFORE we respond to your call. From the looks of it, this young punk got into a dispute with his homies/roommates where they slapped him around a bit. This wasn't a burglary in progress or a home invasion. This was hardly a priority call and who knows what these officers were involved in prior to responding to this punks call for service.

2nd, the old saying, "you get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar" fits well here. These guys were very professional throughout the whole encounter. It was "Mr army" strong decided that he was going to get gangster and take his frustrations out on the ones he called for help. Whether you want to accept it or not, cops are there to help. Not take abuse, be it either verbally or physically. Public servants, YES. Public punching bags, NO. If the young punk was as tough as he tried to project to the cops, he should have just handled his own business and wouldn't have gotten choked out to begin with.

Now its been my experience that there are cops that will take more shit from people than others. A few will let people completely run them over and army boy must have dealt with cops like that in the past. Toward the end of the video, "Mr army of one" stated something to the effect of "Napa Valley cops are never like this". That statement leads me to believe that in his encounter(s) with the Napa Valley Police Department, he interacted with an officer(s) that took his verbal beatings. "Give an inch, they take a mile" army boy figures that since he can talk to Napa Valley cops however he sees fit, that all cops must be the same. Well, it seems like this young punk figured wrong and he was given a brief period of instruction on respect and fucking courtesy.

Oh and for those of you who stated that he didn't act aggressively, seems like he was angry to being with at being slapped around and choked out and then he starts to escalate things by yelling and cursing. Supposedly he clenched his fists as well but I couldn't tell from the video. Cops don't have to wait to be assaulted in order to defend themselves. This guy was clearly posturing and the officers put him down before it got uglier.

I love the fact how it was totally documented and nothing was hidden. I also would like to commend them on how they remained professional before, during and AFTER the slap down.

Glad the young punk saw the error of his ways and apologized. He is a better man for having met this Marine. Semper Fi brother. If you guys ever come to NY, steaks and whiskey on me.

**cue the clowns with videos and links having nothing to do with this incident and the usual "you're a disgrace yada yada yada" comments lololol

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

While I hate to admit it, porkchop is right.

The kid was obviously upset from the first assault which made his mouth write a check his ass couldn't cash.

The officer's conduct was unprofessional in dealing with a victim of a crime but, this was a clash of two arrogant personalities. One was just better prepared for the situation.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

one also knew that if he struck an officer he'd be in jail (perhaps he had that much common sense).

as far as "Slaphappy" stereo typing an entire branch leads me to believe he's never served a day in his life. I did multiple mission with marines (OIF 1 & 2). I gave respect and respect was given back. Cut the fucking macho act "Slaphappy".... last time I checked, a 7.62x39 doesn't hit marines any harder then any other military branch member.

Your marine "is better in everyway" mentality disgraces our grandfather's/fathers who have bleed for this country.

I respect people that walk softly and carry a big hammer... not talkers.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

The correct response is "I apologize for the delayed response, but I'm here now. How can I be of help?"

Two penis' in a driveway, without a ruler to find out who is the bigger one. According to the video, edge to Cop. And I can say that as a former LEO and Marine

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

It's interesting that slap brings up one's lot in life. I wonder what kind of man it is that serves in the military of his country and then supports and enforces a set of laws that are treasonous and in contravention of the constitution of that country?

I wonder what kind of man it is that enforces laws he himself has no intention of living under? That laughs at the people he's supposedly sworn to protect. Who styles himself as a sheepdog in title but acts worse than the wolf he supposedly guards against. A sheepdog stands alone, you never have.

You can sneer all you like Slapchop, it's the standard response from people who think everyone else is as decrepit as they are. This thread you've started has contributed to the continued loss of respect and support of your profession amongst the citizenry.

While you plan to scuttle away you'll leave behind things in worse condition than when you first found them.

I don't envy your lot in life one bit. I hope you live to be a hundred.

Re: Marines Vs Army The Rivalry Continues

Hahaha, THAT explains it, NAPA VALLEY! The kid is a straight PUSSY! The Napa Valley is KNOWN/Notorious for either castrating males, or at least insuring they are well feminized before release(read this total pussification). No wonder the kid got robbed and pwnd by a Marine cop. Maybe the scent of pussy got the Marine all wired up.
As to getting robbed, hopefully he learned that one, he needs to relearn how to fight, two, he needs to relearn how to fight back, and three, he needs to learn that when talking to ANY LEO, you get a shit load farther by NOT being a dickhead, than you do by showing your ass.
Case in point is my son who happens to live in NYC. When he was robbed and called 911, being the son of a Marine, he knows how to deal with people. He spoke to the LEO politely, and did everything he could as the victim. He also has gone back to doing exactly what I taught him, which is to never freakin leave the house without his blade. That blade I gave him would have one, cut that motherfv<ker, and two, probably kept him from getting scuffed more than he did.
ps Thanks for checking up on that,
