Does anyone know who makes the red POF trigger? I would suspect Timney, but do not really know.
I took one out of my new POF, and replaced it with a Geissele SD-E. Just trying to do some research on it.

Yes, that is the same trigger I have. I plan to put it up for sale, somewhere online, so I was hoping to do some research ahead of time.

I have the 4.5lb non-adjustable in my new POF P308 NP3 16.5" that arrives on Monday. I hear good things about the POF trigger so I didnt plan on replacing it.

Why did you remove it?

The POF trigger is nice but for a precision setup, nothing beats a Geissele. I use the SDE in mine as well.

The SD-E has a cleaner break, and of course the second stage is quite light. For HD, combat, or duty I can see it being too light except for a precision marksman rifle. The POF trigger was good, but the Geiselle is noticeable better. I can see using only SD-C and SD-E on ARs.

Also the flat trigger bow gives more tactile feel, compared to curved trigger bows.

I have the POF trigger for sale online for $100, but would sell to a Hide member for $85.

I'll take the trigger if you still have it.

It sold on ebay before I checked my computer this morning. Sorry, should have posted here first.

However, after using the Geissele, I would highly recommend paying the extra $120 and buying a SD-C or SD-E. I would rate the POF as an A- trigger, and the Geissele as an A+.
