Which Muzzle Brake for my Remmy 700 SPS-AAC SD?

I am putting together a build and want to put a good muzzle brake on my SPS. I am teetering between the Badger FTE and the RatWorx Big Chubby. You can see some impressive video of the "Chubby's" effectiveness HERE.

The Badger is smaller, weighs in at 8.8oz and the Chubby weighs in at 12.2oz. The Chubby is made specifically for the SPS-AAC SD and is a direct fit. The Badger will require some material removal to fit over the barrel. I have some neck/shoulder injuries so an effective brake is a must. I also want to keep the rifle weight light as possible with trade-offs. Oh, and looks matter. The cost for both break even with the exception of the mod to the badger to fit the barrel (extra cost).
Any thoughts?
Thanks Guys.

I ordered a pws prc last week. If it ever ships, Il let you know how I like it.

I went with a RAD brake on my AAC-SD. It weighs nearly nothing and is very effective .

Surefire or AAC

If you're in for looks, send your barreled action to Kampfeld custom and have him install one of his side ported brakes to your rifle. His work is first rate; he is a true artisan. His prices are very competitive. Another option is Center Shot Rifles.

Is the RAD brake a "bolt on" brake or do you have to have it smithed? I liked the Chubby because it is plug n play. It is especially made for the .8 diameter barrel. When you look at the videos there is very little recoil. The down side is that it is so damn heavy.

It screws on and has a clamp screw on the bottom. Mine was almost perfectly aligned and I could have sanded the back of the brake to get it to line up, but I took it to as smith and he did it for $20.

Does anyone know what brake the Military uses on the 700?

I ended up going with the MRAD brake from RD Precision. Randy was awesome to deal with and the brake looks awesome. He knew exactly what brake that I needed for my SPS-AAC SD so the diameter is perfect. Now I just have to get some work done to the rifle and get the brake installed.
Thanks again for all of the suggestions.

Lol my post from Feb 1st and I still haven't seen my pws prc yet. This will be the last time these clowns ever see a dime of my money.

MRAD's the way to go

I just ordered a AAC brakeout 51 tooth today. Hopefully I get my blessing from the ATF before 2014 for the AAC suppressor that attaches to it. Lol

I recently bought a used 700 AAC-SD that came with one of these:

But I don't think I am a big fan of it. Planning on trying something else. Plus living in the PRK I feel like it is kind of a waste as I cannot have a suppressor to take advantage of it.

Isn't that a combo flash hider/muzzle brake? I thought those were for use mostly on an AR platform?
