Ok I always wanted an AR15. I always wanted to build one cause I really couldnt find all the features and stuff I wanted in standard off the shelf models. I finally got mine together and needless to say im really happy with the results. For hope for others trying to find AR15 parts keep looking. All these parts minus the reciever was bought after the school shooting. Keep looking and youll find parts.

So needless to say I have a insane amount of money invested in this gun. So I was a bit worried that after I built it that it would shoot like crap. I took it out to the range for a function test and a 50yd grouping indoors so id have a decent place to start once I hit 100 yards. This is how it shoots with handloads of 60gr Vmax bullets

I shot 3 quick shots and antoher 3 shots just to get it on paper and that group measured .07 the second group was .072! So if it stays like this Im estatic on this gun! It shoots great.

Nice shooting. I was looking into the Gold AR triggers, sounds like you like it. What pull did you go with?

I love the trigger. Very crips and I like the little light take up before it hits the wall and breaks over. There's 2 adj screws on the back and the top one is pull weight. It breaks at 2lbs now and is crisp. It's nice having it that like with the light take up before it goes off

Looks like your investment is returning its value already! Nice. I too want to try one of those Gold Triggers in my .223 AR.

I cannot say how much i really like the AR GOLD trigger. Also compass lake barrels are top notch. I actually search the internet for a Young Manufacture phone number and finally found one. I called them and ask about the availibity for a BCG. She had 2 sitting not answered for!! Its the lite version but ive got the adj gas block as well. So I jumped on it. They said the thing thats hard to get is the bolt head itselft and I was getting that thru CLE so it was just the parts and body. I really lucked out cause I know theres thousands of people looking for the Young NM bolt carriers.

Im just excited it shoots like it does
