Retarded are the comments I'm hearing. Someone even told me I should keep my nose out of his business. It was his gun owning neighbor who turned him into the feds, not me. Some of you guys are no better than the media you bitch about. You twist the story around to your satisfaction.

Tough Guy - you need to download a copy of the Constitution of the United States and paste it to a wall and study it....you are no patriot, nor do you understand the intent of this nations founding fathers when they drafted the document that would outline our Constitutional Republic.

And all that coming from Washington state, a place where they took my brother in laws ccw permit and made him sell all his guns because he was never convicted of sometime in NY. HA HA HA. LMAO. What the hell would someone in washington state know? Another retarded comment...noted.

Ya I saw that. Bet it bit the media in the ass when they found out it was a 22.

It wasn't a liberal question and no, my (to that other poster) name is not Dianne. I know this won't sink in for the ones who have one way brains but there's more to life than just guns. Personally I think the guy has more money then brains. NO doubt those guns were legal till he didn't keep up the paperwork on his FFL. He brought all this on himself by not complying with the law. Because he didn't comply with the law all those weapons will probably be destroyed. So ya, more money than brains seems to fit here real well. I would of spent some of that money on other things like a nice little, fast airplane to go visit my mom. Or maybe a small yacht, or or or... I'm not to big on spending money on things your gonna just look at. Seems kind of silly. I once knew a guy and when I asked him how many guns he owned he likes to say, more than I can count. Well the poor dumb bastard probably couldn't count past 10. So you can defend this guy all you want but being stupid is what got him in all this trouble.

It is none of your business how he spends {HIS} money, OR if his house is a little cluttered.

It is none of your business how he spends {HIS} money, OR if his house is a little cluttered.

That's right, it's none of my business... Now let's see you tell the feds that, their the ones who had a problem with his house keeping and his business. I can't wait for the next dickhead to show up and accuse me of writing the media story and having him arrested. :D Some of you guys must have an IQ = Dickweed.

You know...this is the problem with this country right now. People question what or why someone "Needs" or "Has to have" too damn much. What fuckin difference does it make what "Someone Else" has? Really....does it really matter or effect any of us? If my neighbor had 3,000 guns I wouldn't give 2 shits less... I don't own a pile of guns but its not because I don't want to, it's just not economically wise for me right now. But, why are people so damn hung up on what other folks do with they're "Individual Rights"
Sorry to the OP but, as soon as I read their opening statement, the first thing that popped in my head is "Liberal" period. We shouldn't be wasting our time worrying about others Freedoms, just appreciate what "We" have for now.....it is under attack right now from all sides by the left and if we aren't careful, the next conversations we'll be having is ...Remember when you could own a gun?
I'm not simple or "One sided" I just appreciate my freedoms. Remember, what difference does it really make how many or how much someone else has? The awesome thing about our freedoms as of now is, no one is prevented from "How Many & a how much"

YET....We need to bind together folks and keep it Free.

Tough Guy = Troll

must be a troll, no one could be so arrogant without a motive.

tough guy,

Please get the fuck out of Texas and feel free to drink a cup of bleach on your way out.. Thank you.

If you reread my first post this is what I said "Who in the hell needs that many guns" (big eyes go here)? Nowhere did I state that he shouldn't own those guns. Ain't no skin off my teeth if he owns that many guns. And he probably wouldn't be in any trouble if he kept his firearms license current. Whether you own 1 gun or 10,000 you still have to obey state and federal laws. I myself have no need or want to own that many guns. Some laws do suck but you still have to obey those laws.

Tough guy, the point you're missing is that nobody gives a shit that he's breaking an unconstitutional law. The law is on it's very face unconstitutional. Couple that with forwarding the gun grabbers narrative "need" and you paint yourself as closet gun-grabber or at least one that will lay down when the time comes to excessive your second amendment right. You're going to catch shit from people as long as it's perceived that you meet the above criteria.

Thanks for your reply High Binder, it's nice to come here and talk to people who can understand what a topic is about. I fully understand nobody gives a shit that he's breaking an unconstitutional law but as long as we have that law we have no choice but to obey it. If we don't we go to jail just like the guy in the article did. I respect this forum and the many men who belong to it but I also understand that there will be some cry baby's amongst us. Coming here and whining and crying is no way to fix that law and I can purty much figure most of the whiners and criers probably never served in the military or did anything to help rid us of those unwanted laws. They just want to come here and whine and cry. In this case (thread) they just want someone to blame. That person is me. I would hope that when they get done laying on the floor and quit throwing their tantrums maybe... just maybe they might come here and portray themselves as real men. But that probably way to much to ask of them.

Tough Guy has got a temper. Short man syndrome on the internet. Watch out, he is going to bite your balls off. I find this all funny myself.

The issue I have with the op is his opening line- it mimics the retoric of the gun grabbing liberals.

You may think 300+ is excessive (seems that most here don't), I guarantee the libs who agree with your opinion also think your 22 guns are excessive.

Oh, and the small, fast plane you would have bought if you had his money- Al Gore and his minions think that is excessive too.

Thank you Wardy for your thoughts. I can purty much agree with you except I don't believe that our problems are only with the left. There's some purty shady characters on the right too. MCcain would be one of them. I'll stop there as I don't want any of the whiners turning this into a political discussion (not that they know anything about politics).

Yeap your middle of nowhere all right :D. I ain't mad at nobody here. I fully realize some people are inbred, retarded or brain dead and I know I cannot help those people. They need to seek professional help.

Tough guy; its a bill of needs not a bill of wants that covers the mans firearm ownership regardless of amount. Also no where within that amendment does it discuss registration or permits... the state law violates constitutional rights and I for one take no offense from him being in violation of said law. Especially since indoing so he didn't impose upon the rights of others. In my opinion his neighbor is what's wrong with the stage of NY and the left leaning of our country today. On a slightly more personal note who the fuck are you to pass judgement on anyone in the state of washington about anything. Your post make you sound more like a transplanted californian than a true texan. I was born and raised in league city texas and currently live in seattle and while I rarely agree with the politics in the city one doesn't have to drive too awful far in any direction to find a more welcoming climate to the right minded thinking individual. While we may not be allowed full auto class 3 fun guns yall in texas arent allowed open carry. Every state has its qwirks and our is becoming more and more 2A friendly all the time. Do some research before you let your uninformed opinion loose in the future

I guess I have a 'one way brain' (whatever the fuck that means), and I just assume you have become like many Americans that cannot imagine someone using the money they earned, without your help, and buying more stuff than you have.

To the original question I agree with most of the folks here, it's none of my business how many, or what, any one owns, right up to the point where it denies me any basic human right.

I guess to make it easy for you we could substitute one word, then tell me the limit, we might need to change up a little sentence structure to keep grammar and syntax somewhat intact.

'Who in the hell needs that many', cars, books, plants, wigs, dishes, degrees. children, cranes, boats, airplanes, acres of land, farm implements, breast augmentation surgeries etc.

Then we, (assuming we have the skill required to read) move to the story, there are no federal agents reported in the story, only staties. He was out on bond in no time so there must not have been much of a crime, other than some bull shit pistol garbage that is unique ( I assume) to NYC area.

You obviously have no problem with the state confiscating his legal weapons, as you have kept saying he violated some unknown law, and now I guess you think it's okay for LE to take all his shit and him to spend thousands in legal fees to get it back.

Somewhere it was stated that the expired FFL had some bearing on this, that was just reported in the story, and folks ran with that. Remember, there are very, very few facts reported, mostly .gov officials spewing to a willing writer-downer of information, or mis-information mostly, when it comes from the government.

After the bullshit ruling from the ATF when the four state assault weapon reporting requirement went into effect, ATF had some pretty serious paperwork investigations here in town, causing two dealers here in town to finally give their FFL's up, and move their business collections to their personal property.

Simple, all the firearms in the bound book were transferred to the dealers personal name, then the bound book and all pertinent papers were given to the ATF. The Agent here in town was telling us about a private collecter here with 3200 firearms, mostly handguns, including sidearms worn by almost every General that served in WWII. Is that a problem for you also? That is three thousand two hundred, which is 2900 more than this 'miscreant' you originally posted the story about.

Seems like your just a little jealous, made an ass out of your self with your original post and now every one here (on a gun site no less) is some sort of dumb ass for pointing out the folly of your comment.

'Now let's see you tell the feds that, their the ones who had a problem with his house keeping and his business.'

Please show me where you found that the feds were there, I'm dying to know your sourcing.

Or you could just call me a pansy, or tell me to 'go suck a big one', or call me 'inbred' or 'retarded'. I really don't care either way, it just seems you have facts that I can't find anywhere.

sean

And please keep your thoughts in Texas, AZ has been fucked enough already.

Wow. Not only did you shit your bed, you started fingerpainting with the shit.

You aren't very bright, are you?

You do a lot of "figuring" and not much thinking.

I'll tell you guys a little story (I'll keep it short as I know some of you have the attention span of a puppy). Once upon a time there was a senator/congressman. He got on National television and said "We have become a nation of whiners and criers". The End. From the reply's to this thread I can deduct that he was correct.

I'll tell you a little story, which I will also keep short since you'll probably have to pee if I take too long.

There once was a guy who might have been cool during the Nixon Administration. Then he was a grumpy old prick who thought he knew everything, and had an opinion about the rest. Then, nobody gave a shit about him or his opinions.

The End.

Tough Guy. Why are you even ON this forum? There are many professionals here who know that there are different tools for different jobs. You don't walk around with a long gun in tight environs, so you carry either concealed or, if in a Constitutional carry state like Arizona, open/concealed carry - WITHOUT a (government blessed) 'permit'. Conversely you don't try to make a 500 yd shot with a handgun. Or try to, at least humanely, take an elk with a .22LR. Different jobs, different tools. Anybody who swings a simple hammer on a construction site for a living knows that.

Perhaps you are of the "You can't shoot more than one gun at a time" mindset. If so, do you have more than one handgun (one for each hand)? If so, then you are being hypocritical.

Finally, it's obvious from the article that this was probably his inventory from when he had a FFL. He had passed through all the ATF hoops, background checks, etc. and at one point chose not to carry on his business - for whatever reason of his own. At that point you sell off what you don't want then transfer the balance of your inventory into your own name. A local dealer had to do that when he got too old to continue. Had to sell them off in private transactions after that. The ATF took his logs and that was that. The last dealer/gunsmith I worked for had something close to that amount in his inventory at one time - in a much smaller town but larger local 'market', as Arizonans are not under the burdens put upon those who live in NY. When he moved to a more communistic state nearby, the local ordinances wouldn't let him carry on his dealership and gunsmithing business within the city limits (in an R1 zone, anyway), so he had to do the same thing. He's now having to sell off his former inventory just to make a second move into unincorporated county. Meanwhile he had to turn over his records to ATF as he couldn't renew the license. If there were any NFA firearms in that (NY) guy's house, and he transferred them legally, he paid a hefty sum for each one. Note - the article mentioned the charge of "criminal possession of a weapon", not weapons, so it looks like there was only one that may or may not have been "illegal". The local cops can say all of them were "illegal" all they want while charging him and then let the courts sort out whether their limited intelligence was switched on that day. (No disrespect meant, but some officers don't fully comprehend the local laws they're supposed to be enforcing, much less federal laws).

A collector would see your question and answer with "Who are you to decide what is enough, or too many?". And any other collectors in NY are probably wondering if the same guy who ratted this one out will show up on THEIR doorstep. Or, for that matter, whether some idiot looking for a quick $500 will be the next one to offer them a 'collector's item'.

starry_brew @Tough Guy. Why are you even ON this forum?

I've been hired by the firm to draw out the few sissy's on this site and separate them from the real men. Once this has been accomplished they will be turned over to the firm. Once this is done my job is finished. The firm will then use them for experimental research.

Perhaps you are of the "You can't shoot more than one gun at a time" mindset.

Are you kidding? My real name is RAMBO. :D

A collector would see your question and answer with "Who are you to decide what is enough, or too many?".

And I would consider him a real man for answering my question with another question instead of the bickering bullshit I've been reading in this thread.

Toughguy is the problem with the country, people who don't understand in their daily lives why some people choose to this or that want them to justify it to them because they don't do it themselves. We don't have to justify shit. Does anyone need a collection of limouge porcelain, does anyone need 12 cats, does anyone need a bigmac, probably not but its their right. I don't slam dudes in the asshole like you probably do but I don't need justification as to why you do.

And this comes from a brainy dude that wasn't even born yet during my service in the military (born March 25, 1978 (34)).

So I guess the question I have for Toughguy is this- how many guns is enough?

When you have answered that, how much is too much to spend on those guns?( I ask because you made a specific point to mention how you would have more appropriately used his money).

As long as we are at it, at one time I collected guitars....how many guitars are too many?

Bet you won't give anything more than a b.s. answer to these, it seems your reponses have devolved into someone's opinion being worthless because they were born after you...

And this comes from a brainy dude that wasn't even born yet during my service in the military (born March 25, 1978 (34)).
Not sure what age has to do with anything concerning this thread.
Your arguments have no basis in facts or logic, and always seem to resort to name calling and character assassination.
Both are tactics of liberals, so you are showing your true colors whether you know it or not.

[re-titled, huh? Maybe that's why this didn't go through the first time]

I guess this just goes to show there are communists of all ages on this forum, minding everybody else's business but his own. That's assuming this is not just another of the Cass Sunstein inspired cognitive dissonance operators using that sock puppet software/personality management software from ntrepid. The response to my post may have been closer to the truth than anything else. And who else would have the time to monitor and reply to almost every post?

A,MF

I am renaming this thread. This thread will now be known as...

The official Whiners and criers club thread.

Oh gee, you just out smarted us all by changing your original post.
Again it shows your liberal bias. When you can't win the argument or counter with any facts you change the subject Or resort to name calling and character assassination. You are definitely a class act!!

Lady at church knows I like guns and said that any more than one is a waste why do you need all those guns? You can't shoot more than one at a time. Why do I need all your opinions? I can't even take one at a time. I'm not hurting anyone owning 2 guns (grin). I'm just enjoying my hobby and look at it as an investment. But then again, why I do it is none of your fucking business in the first place. If we face another civil unrest in this country (Katrina was at my back door at the time) you might change your minds. I guess I'm crazy for buying water filters and food. I guess there is no reason to have 3000 cans of soup either. I can only eat one at a time. Leave me the fuck alone you left wing POS's

At this point, I am done wasting time on this thread. You have not brought one cognisant argument to the table.
Enjoy your delusional state of mind.

I didn't post this thread to argue. I brought you a story about someone being arrested and the simple silly asses came out of the woodwork laying blame on me for something I didn't have anything to do with. You chicken littles better go hide so you don't get hurt by a falling thread. Sad to see so many chicken littles here. The sky is falling, go run and hide. I'm done with all this cry baby stuff. Maybe you guys could take up a collection so one of you could afford a back bone and a pair a balls.

The point is, though, that the law he supposedly broke is not a valid law, under the Constitution.

Neither is the converting your shit to full auto then, but nobody seems to be championing that right under 2A. Not being a dick, as I agree with you 100%.

Everyone wants to cry bloody fucking murder over gun laws that are being passed or may be passed but nobody seems to care about getting the National Firearms Act overturned.

I, for one, am ashamed that you were a temporal colleague. Give it up, man. You smoked just a wee little bit too much Thai stick while you were in country.
