I ordered a Geissele SSA-E for my LMT MWS directly from Geissele. Upon receiving it I immediately installed it in my MWS. The trigger felt amazing but I would get a good amount of creep from time to time. The creep was very inconsistent, some trigger pulls had a perfect brake with zero creep and others had a good amount of creep prior to the brake. I was not able to tolerate the inconsistency in the trigger so I contacted Geissele via email at 9:30 P.M. on a Wednesday evening. To my surprise I received a reply at 9:59 P.M. the same evening (WOW)! In an email signed by Bill himself were suggestions of areas to check that may be causing the creep. Per Bill's suggestions, the following evening, I checked all areas visible in the lower receiver for rubbing. To my untrained eye I could not see any potential areas of rub. Knowing that Bill himself would be better able to assess the situation, I took a few high quality photos and emailed them to him at 8:05 P.M.. At 9:06 P.M. that evening Mr. Geissele once again promptly responded to my email stating that after viewing the photos he too was not able to see any areas or potential rub which would be causing the inconsistent creep in my second stage. Bill this time suggested that I remove the ambi safety selector, as they are sometimes problematic, and then check the pull again. Bill also stated that if I would like, then he would be happy to either inspect my lower receiver or send me a new trigger to try. I replied to Bill that I would remove the safety and check the trigger for creep on Saturday. Well...this morning I woke up and decided to remove the safety selector and give the trigger a try. Removing the safety decreased the incidence of creep but I still, on occasion, experienced it. At 2:13 P.M. this afternoon I once again emailed Geissele to notify him of the results. At 3:09 P.M. Geissele responded informing me that he would be sending me a new trigger to try. What business owner responds to a customer complaint late in the evening after business hours? Furthermore, who responds on a Saturday? Oh, and as another gesture of Top Notch Customer Service Mr. Geissele provided me with a 20% discount code to use should I decide to purchase something else from his company. I can't say enough good things about Geissele. Their product is definitely top notch and they have the customer service to match. I thought Larue Tactical had great service (don't get me wrong, they are very good), but I think Geissele may be the best customer service that I have ever received. Thank you Mr. Geissele.

Awesome, I put a lot of stock into the quality of a business' customer service. That's great to hear. I honestly can't think of one negative thing I've heard about Geissele. Looking to put a SDE/SDC into my latest ar15. Makes that choice that much easier.

one of the best companies out there, Bill is amazing guy. Cannot reccomend them high enough.

That's a good story, too many times people only write up their negative interactions w/ companies.

The only thing better than Geissele's CS is their actual kit. I bet you get a badass hat w/ your new trigger.

Hat? You get a hat if you order direct?!? Why the hell have I been ordering from vendors then????

I'm a picky hat wearer for sure, and I'm currently on my third Geissele cap. Easily my favorite hats.

Mine have always been tan, but I've seen a few black models in pics......that's the one I'm gunning for now.

I wish they had some in XXL. The one size fits all just can't stretch far enough for us fatheads. I ended up giving mine away.

i had almost the same thing happen to me with an ssa-e for ar15 i emailed them and bill himself called me the next day not some shop worker but bill himself i cannot afford many geissele triggers but everyone ive ever bought is and will be a geissele because of his customer service......the fact his products are top notch doesnt hurt either.

please if your in the market buy a geissele and support vendors like this who really care

I have to jump in here for Mr. G myself as I have utmost conffidence in his triggers, DIG HIS RAIL SYSTEMS and have also had great experience directly with him on customer service. As of last week; I have no other brand of trigger in my AR's. (Traded other brands out to buddies for ammo, etc.) Gaining access to any executive in the industry is unusual. It's amazing when they are down to earth and 100% honest.......

Could not agree more. I buy all my triggers direct from Bill off his website. They have always shipped same day and usually within hours. I have a nice collection of shirts, hats and stickers! I guess when you hit ten or twelve you really start to get swag! LOL

I just got the new Tricon for my new Mega build. Looking forward to trying Bills new Voodoo magic!!!!

Danco,

I actually have a tricon trigger going in a 5.56 Legion build as we speak! Can't wait to get the tricon/carbine and run it! Those little grooves in the trigger should be NICE when cold, wet, etc..... So, how's it feel???

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but haven't found anything related. Here's my story. I would like to throw Geissele 45° Quick Detach Swivel Mount on Geissele 14.5" Super Modular Rail installed on my MR223. However, the thickness of the barrel of my MR223 makes me wonder if there is enough place under the handguard to accommodate the 45° Quick Detach Swivel Mount. I've contacted Geissele Customer Service via their web page form 4 days ago, unfortunately to no avail. I only received an automatic confirmation, stating that: "You have submitted 'Support Request Form' form on Geissele Automatics website". Had I contacted Mr. Geissele personally, I would probably have more success. Unfortunately I haven't seen any direct mail links on their site, just the forms.

Let me see what I can do for you pal, I'll try to get back with an answer to your above question w/in the day or two.

If it turns out the SMR QD swivel mount works for your weird German thingy (lol...rock nothing but HK handguns, just no longuns).....you should prob. jump on the new SMR scout mounts as well. Such a streamlined package with a M300b, and then a SMR Scout mount (low model).

If I get an answer back, you gotta show off a pic or two of the SMR railed HK MR556 that your sporting. Only fair!

RE: Threads purpose......nobody does it like Geissele in terms of doing literally everything right thus far. They have the true Midas touch atm for sure. BAD Inc. is another young company to keep on the watch for. Great friends of mine, make the best selectors to date, and honestly have as good, if not better CS relations than GA given their smaller size. Geissele, and BAD Inc. will spoil your rotten with both world class kit, and world class attention. Fwiw...for a two man outfit, Kevin and HCS is as good as it gets as well. I could name lots of other great companies but none like the 3 mentioned above.

mr223a1......it's your lucky day brother! Reached out to Mr. Geissele less than 30min. ago, and here is the reply I got back from him a few mins. ago:

" The 45 mount will fit. But tell this fellow to contact me directly and I'll send him one for free if he lets everyone else how he likes it and posts pics."

Talk about an example of CS, and what a company will do for it's friends, and customers....I must admit that's very impressive, and quite the neat opportunity for mr223a1.

RE: mr223a1 ..... I'm sending you via PM Mr. Geissele's contact info. Just contact him when you have the time, and perhaps reference this thread's question, or that Alex sent you his way.

Yep...Bill is just one of the best folks out there in terms of not only the extremely high quality of his products, but how he deals with people day in and day out with respect to all aspects of his life both personally and professionally. I've been exclaiming the virtues of the Geissele triggers for a LONG time and this sort of service is just one of the reasons that I keep giving Bill money and recommendations!

Outstanding! Trident1982, you are the man, thank you. I'm truly impressed with your assistance and Mr. Geissele's generosity. I'll contact him and keep this thread updated, pics will follow.

Geissele treats his dealers quite well, too. No question goes unanswered.

A couple of years ago, very late on Christmas Eve, I remembered a minor question I had been meaning to ask Bill, so I sent off a quick email right before hitting the sack. Before I could turn the computer off, I had a reply.

The best thing, though, about Geissele products is you typically don't NEED customer service, in my experience. I've installed well over a hundred of his triggers without one single glitch. One key reason is a clear, concise yet detailed sheet of instructions. And the Mk 4 forends come with the single best sheet of installation instructions of any product in the entire AR' world, I believe. It's a technical writing masterpiece and could be used as a teaching tool on the subject. Quite a nice product, too, the Mk 4, with probably more machine time invested in optimizing it than any of its competitors' forends.

Bill Geissele is one of the rare manufacturers in the world who completely stands by his product, period, no tap-dancing or double-talking. He designed his triggers and rails, he designed them right, and he builds them right.

He is also a great American and patriot.

He keeps it quiet, but his trigger was in the HK 416 that shot the world's most wanted terrorist in the face.

So far, every single thing he makes ends up being the best thing out there.

My like would be so much more pleasant if everyone would simply order a Geissele forend on their custom uppers.
