I have a Seekins Precision iRMT-3 upper with Seekins billet lower I really like it, but I need help. I have built a few "normal" lowers in the past but the Seekins is different. The front pivot pin is normal but I can't figure out how to put together the rear take down pin (spring and detent) or fire control. Does anyone have a video or instructions on how to put this thing together? Please help.
Thanks,

The iRMT-3 is the upper receiver, not the lower. Glen Seekins is here on the board so I would shoot him a quick pm as he's fairly quick to respond.

I didn't know Glen's lowers used an allen screw to retain the detent spring for the take-down. That's fucking awesome, lol. Glen when you read this... Great idea!

They are truly excellent in every respect, Nick! I love mine!!

You read the article right Tac? You just need to remove the allen screw, possibly shorten the spring, then insert the spring and then put the allen screw back in to retain the spring.
(Just in case the article disappears for future reference)

Trouble installing

I am having trouble installing my Mega Trigger in my Seekins Billet SP223 Lower: There is a set screw inside the bottom back of the Fire Control Area. It sits on an angle and sticks out enough to interfere with the seating of the trigger. I can't seem to fit an allen wrench I have to it. Should I remove this? back it down flush inside? What is it for? What does it do?
My second Lower build, so not much experience here.

That's the trigger reset adjustment/stop screw. Just back out the screws and proceed with your install as you would in any other lower. Should be a 0.050" allen key.

Do I need to put both of them back in? Together back to back they are just a bit too long.

That's your call. If you aren't going to be using that feature of the lower, then I can't see any harm in leaving them out (aside from getting fouling down there that you might not want). Stick 'em in a baggie and set them aside for a "rainy day" and be done with it.

I decided to google the issue I had yesterday with my lower. Took a carbine class and used this lower for the first time. After around 100 rounds my safety wouldn't engage and trigger froze. 20 people standing around scratching their heads including the instructor. Luckily one of the instructors assistant was a smith and noticed 1 screw and removed it. Tried it again and still no luck. He then recognizes the 2nd screw and it was all good after that. This was my 2nd build so yes I'm a newb.
