Any rain is to the west, hopefully it wont creep in this afternoon, winds are light so far, temps in the low 50s, might get 57 today. Ill be testing the Hornady 105s, 105 Hybrid, and Nosler 105 Comp bullets, Im hoping for the best results, of course. That would be 1/4moa or less out to 300yds, you dont think thats asking too much, do you? haha

If you are just testing the bullets now, 1/4moa at 300 with no load developement is tough. But you never know. I shot the burgers through my 6x47 and it was hard to find them after a while. So I went with the noslers 105. They shoot great and are cheaper. But I do however sort all of my bullets no matter what I shoot. Good luck and let us know.

Well, it was not so windy when I left for the range, but I get out there and it's always windier than at home, Id say winds gusting to 15MPH and a steady 8mph, was going to shoot at 300 but thought 200 might be a better option. 32X scope really brings out the mirage, I eventually turned it down to 24X, the image did improve a bit, though I was getting washout on the dot of the reticle every once in awhile. At any rate, had 41-43grs RE17 loaded up(In half grain increments) and here are the results, the group on the left measured .909" right group went .892, 41.5 & 42grs respectively, 42.5 & 43grs were not so good, and did I mention it was windy, so much for loading at the range to do some verifying tests, Ill do that next wed hopefully. Wind was pretty much out of the north, northeast. Too windy to load at the range, shooting more wouldve been a waste Im thinking.

Ive got some verifying loads loaded up today, I took the 42grs and seated 15 more of the Hornadys, 10 Hybrids, 10 Noslers. Will do the next shoot with the conditions a bit better. Wed. maybe?

I thought u had a load for your 6 creedmoor that was 3300 fps. It used less powder then a 243 and doubled barrel life.

Dont have a chrono, Ill have to use trajectory figures to see what velocity Im getting, Im thinking in the 3250 range. Ill load some bullets today for the trajectory test.
