NICE! New background for awhile. How does it work shooting over the road? Is it public/private? Are you high enough it's not a problem or do you have to cease fire for traffic? Random question I know, just curious.

It's my driveway.... My wife knows to hurry past....

I would love to have property like that. I feel like I would blow through so much ammo if I had a range in my backyard.

For the first 6 months u might... Then, check zero's, make cold bore shots and tune loads for accuracy. That'd prolly be about it... Enjoy the view and take long shots at beef stew cans lol

Very true. I could practice the 1 mile shot at Dinty Moore cans with my .408 just like Bob Lee Swagger

OMG!!,, Why is it you guys are ALWAYS on the North or West end of the state!?!?! Nice yard.

You might get a kick out of this picture.... one rainy day I fired my first round and was getting ready for a second when a dozen elk came into view. The report of the rifle didnt scatter them but made them a bit confused... I was entertained for ten minutes before they moved off....

I have to get imaginative with my targets so I dont get bored.... hard boiled eggs at three hundred, hang steel by a single rope so you have to time the shot with its spin, water balloons.... I keep my reloading press busy.

Wow, in the Netherlands there isn't even a public range left past 300 meter. What i wouldn't give for such a backyard. You're a lucky man.

For Gun and Country.

Photos like the OP and other's have posted are relaxing to me...likely because it's what I enjoy doing too. Good stuff...would like to see more...hell, a good one may end up being my desktop background. ;)

You're giving me a serious case of "back yard envy". Here in NJ, my back yard is so small I could spit across it.

Small yards are OK for mowing....

To quote a line from a great movie......

Del Gue: I ain't never seen 'em, but my common sense tells me the Andes is foothills, and the Alps is for children to climb! Keep good care of your hair! These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here! And there ain't no priests excepting the birds. By God, I are a mountain man, and I'll live 'til an arrow or a bullet finds me. And then I'll leave my bones on this great map of the magnificent...
