I see bulk bullets once a week, primers are here and there coming back, but I don't see any of popular powders at all. Varget pops up every couple weeks but its gone within hours. Besides that powder Is almost nonexistent online. For the people that have been reloading for years, how long does this last? Its getting pretty frustrating to be honest.

Backorder if you can. It took 20 weeks for my 10x, RL17, RL33 and Retumbo to come in. I'm at 22 weeks waiting on my Varget backorder. (I have picked up 7 1# Varget here and there to get me by.) Might be a long wait for your powder if your waiting for it to show up on the shelf. I say backorder some 8 pounders online if you can.

Makes sense, but most of the places wont even let you backorder. Do you know of any sites left that will let you? The things I would do for H335 lol My local shop has a ton of 4064,imr 4895 and gets varget in once a week or so. Im getting desperate on .223 powders though

It's been very frustrating....luckily, I was at the beginning of my 1 year bulk supply of components when this mess started. This has been the worst I've seen it since when the first assault weapons ban....but then it was only a run on the firearms, not really EVERYTHING. 22LRs ammo is even gone...who would have saw that coming.

The day after Sandy Hook I bought the typical stuff just from experience: Ordered extra mags and stripped lowers. 2-3weeks into it I started to notice a run on components and ammo...by then it was too late.

This is going to last awhile.....and if we all make it out with our rights in tact, we will all have learned a valuable lesson in keeping the essentials on hand. ;)

I don't even hand load or own any guns, but I stock piled 500 some pounds of Varget and H4350 to put on gun broker for 60% more than retail. I'm making a killing!!

Las Vegas. Lasts 14 more weeks.

I found lots of powder by visiting every gun shop I could as I travel for work. I grabbed what I could when I found it, and posted those places on "Hide and Seek" thread when there was availability. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and found I had amassed about 50# total of the varieties I like best. Now I am just keeping my eyes open for RL-33, which I don't need, but would sure like to try.

Good for you. You aren't making it from me but over anxious folk are always going to blow their money anyway. No one is making them do it so you may as well get some of it too.

Powder and primers aren't my problem...boolits are! And I was being sarcastic about selling pow on gunbroker...

Through lots of searching, I've lucked out and found plenty of powder and primers, but it's the bullets that I want that have been most difficult to come by. I have a decent stash right now, but I would certainly buy more if they were available. The shelves at my local store have been pretty bare for a long time now. Recently, they got in a shipment of 50,000 rounds of .22LR and it was all sold within a couple of hours. I was in Houston last week and went into an Academy where they had a big stack of .22LR behind the cash register at the customer service station. I asked the lady to give me 10 boxes of 50, but she said they had a limit of 1 box per customer per day! It would be nice if we could just buy what we need as we need it. I'm now buying as much as I can get whenever it's available, so I have a much larger stash than I would have if the stuff weren't so hard to get. Since we're all in the same boat, I'm sure lots of people are buying as much as they can get their hands on whenever they can find it. I have a feeling that hoarding large quantities of reloading components is going to become the norm for most people, so it will probably be quite a long time before supply will catch up to demand....if ever!

I have noticed components becoming easier to find and funny enough the last 2 times I walked into wally world they had 22LR available. They will only sell you one box at a time but hey it is better than nothing. I get on the notification dealio at midway as well and they will email when they get something you want. You have to buy it right away but it helps. I just bought a 500 piece box of Hornady 50 grain Zombie max for my 223. I love those bullets. Anyway, good luck to everyone getting what they want!

Gotta look around hard. I bought ALOT of Rl22, Power Pro Varmint. Im contemplating unloading 8 pounds of varget for some H4350.

You mention 4895-that's one of the most versatile powders out there and some of my most accurate 223 loads used IMR4895.

Local store has plenty of powder, so much so that they have to keep the excess in back as the shelves are full. Its getting better, steadily.
