Here is the situation. I have a LA Remington 700 with a SWFA SS mounted on it with low Seekins rings. The bolt clears the scope with about 4-6mm (just estimating by eye), however it is sort of difficult to manipulate due to the close proximity. *Eventually* I will send my rifle to a gunsmith to get a bunch of work done on it (when I'm no longer on a student budget) but for now I don't really want to get a oversized knob smithed on. I saw the KRG on some of 8541Tactical's videos and wondered if this might help with manipulation so close to the scope? I see a lot of love for this piece as a budget or temporary upgrade.

It's a great piece and for $35 it's worth a try.... They sell pretty fast when they do pop up in the forsale section too.
As to your question, yes they certainly do help manipulate the bolt, however, your clearances described may be an issue (I think it'll clear, but it'll be close).

I just took the closes distance and estimated it. Its hard to describe without and picture, and the pictures I attempted to take are not good enough to see much. I think I will go ahead and order one.
Bought one and installed it a few weeks ago and best thing I did to my rifle for only $35. Worst case scenario is you'll have to sell it to a buddy or on eBay but totally worth it in my opinion.
The KRG Bolt Lift is a good piece of kit.
That is some seriously high praise. I will definitely be ordering one, and if it doesn't work out I'll come here and then ebay. Judging from the picture, it should work.

Have one on my Rem 700 tactical and just cant see spending the money to get the bolt knob done differently. I love ease of installation and will be getting more later for other rifles I have. Awesome piece of kit.
It's real nice, especially for the price. I have one on my 40X and you couldn't take it away from me.
not the most eye apealing thang out thur but it works, i got one not wanting to modify an M24, like i said, it works. Sorta looks like a big ole buttplug on me bolt handle
While I did get a laugh, I don't think it looks *quite* that bad haha. From the pics i've seen it looks pretty nice. I'll let you guys know what I think when I get it.
